I did the AVS Hood Protector and 3M Clear PPF to my Headlights, Fog-lights, Full Front including Grille, 1/4 Hood, 1/4 Roof, Door Pillars, Mirror Caps, Door Edges and 1/2 Wheel Flare Protection as soon as I bought my truck almost 4 years ago. I have some marks in the PPF, but NO stone chips through to the paint anywhere. I got the front windows tinted at the same time. $750 CAD for all the PPF and Tint. Small investment for longevity!

Too bad that same job is triple the price now. I just had tint done all the way around (including roof and windshield), and it was $650.00. That was with the good guy discount. They normally charge $900 for that. PPF on the front of the truck is $1,500. :( I used to pay $250.00 for that same job a few years ago.

I swear Chrysler's paint application is worse than it used to be. Hard to believe, but my previous 8 Rams had 0 rocks chips when I traded them back in after 2 years. My last one, there must have been 20 or so. I swear, you look at the paint wrong and it chips nowadays.

What route do you follow? Hwy 97 goes right through here.
$750 CAD works out to about $1.47 USD. LOL 😂 Pretty sad actually!
I used to buy a lot of stuff from the U.S. and travel down to the States. It’s just not equitable to do that now. Hasn’t been for a long time.

Completed the TRX interior swap today. Week long project. Swapped seats, console and grab handles. Still have to get the console shifter working, but I know what needs to be done. Requires building a harness.

Where do you get all of the interior from? That's pretty damn cool looking.

Step son came out to he track tonight and made about 20 passes in the truck tonight. He was practicing his reaction times for the teen bracket races we are running next weekend

I had to do a double take at first. The first 4 words of your post threw me for a bit. 😆

Seriously though, he's gonna be racing the Ram? That would be pretty cool of you.🫡

Yeah, we bought a 99 Dakota R/T, but still trying to get title for it. Rules for the class he is running requires vehicle to have license plates. So figure the RAM with 4wd is a good truck. Doesn't have to worry about wheel spin, can just hammer the gas and go. Consistent for bracket racing he was cracking of 10.1x times all night in the 1/8 mile. A few 10.2s and one 10.03.
