6/60 drivetrain warranty from factory. If you get replacement engine it goes to 100K
From 2019 Ram Warranty Information
C. How Long It Lasts
The Powertrain Limited Warranty lasts for up to five years or 60,000 miles on the odometer, whichever occurs first, calculated from the start date of the Basic Limited Warranty, as set forth in Section 2.1 E.

Just reviewed it 6 weeks ago. 6 months out of 5 year warranty, 40011 miles and needs motor. Lifetime was purchased with a day or so availability remaining. Believe it was $3100 with 100 deductable.

So far no motor at dealership.

What went wrong with the motor?

And how does one go about purchasing extended/lifetime warranty?

iirc the guys who got in on the 2019s are the only ones who were able to snag the old lifetime warranty.

No word on motor from Ramsey CDJR, NJ other than replacement.
That warranty stopped in 2018. I believe the lifetime warranty was produced to encourage people to make the move to Dodge after some bad years and bad reputation. I have a friend who put his granddaughter on the registration and warranty years before I purchased in 2018.

Could ask dealer about a "courtesy" repair for the engine since you are so close to end of warranty. My dealer told me the "extended" period for courtesy repair is within 12 months or 12k miles past warranty expiration.

I bought a Rough Country underseat storage for the rear off marketplace. Not a great deal, but better than new. Now to try and figure out how I want to store my to recovery strap and shackles in it

We post our fails too, right? I got the catch can used and at the time, I got whatever hose just to route the lines... mistake. Hose was now replaced with proper PCV hose.

Cleaned air filter, tire rotation done, and emptied the catch can.
