I looked at the Everstart as well as the Diehard. I was leaning toward Diehard. I’m on year 5 with the OEM.Good choice, but get the H8 AGM. It's like $170 and still has a 4-year warranty

I'd just go with the everstart H8. Almost $100 cheaper and has a 4-year warrantyI looked at the Everstart as well as the Diehard. I was leaning toward Diehard. I’m on year 5 with the OEM.
I guess so, I am just such a minimalist when I camp that when I pack for the family, I am just shocked on how much stuff they need.....In the absence of a travel trailer, this not that terrible.

Still on original battery 5+years.Surprise surprise.
Completely Dead battery. Zero. Nada. Average life span. 1 year and 7 months each time. This will be my 3 rd battery. First one was cover under warranty
thats not a bad idea. it sort of seems from what I have seen in this forum that if your battery goes pass the 2 years mark you got a good one and will go a long way but you are getting in the dangerous zone from my experience and the 2 times that mine went out there was zero warning. Just woke up to a dead batteryim considering doing that as a preventative thing...
or keep an AGM in the truck in case something happens in the next 2 months while im in the middle of nowhere lol
I was hoping to get more time out of my OEM but with this last heatwave of 115 for several days has just put too much load on the battery. But with 4 years of service, I am contentStill on original battery 5+years.
yeah even though i carry a jumpstarter with me in the truck i think having a backup would be ideal especially on The Dalton or Dempster.thats not a bad idea. it sort of seems from what I have seen in this forum that if your battery goes pass the 2 years mark you got a good one and will go a long way but you are getting in the dangerous zone from my experience and the 2 times that mine went out there was zero warning. On my bucket list too. Not much room between Roosevelt and Lincoln, looks like Trump will need to go on one of the sides.View attachment 186395

Drove her a lot over the last 3 days. Last minute work stuff required me to drive 2150 miles (32 hours) 3 days later from home NW FL to Montana.. detoured and checked off a bucket list item since I was pretty close already and probably won’t be out this way again. Overdo for an oil change ill do here when I get a chance. Stopped at Harbor Freight and grabbed a clamp to do a temporary ac hack without checking the temp seemed to do its job just fine on the trip.
On the back side?On my bucket list too. Not much room between Roosevelt and Lincoln, looks like Trump will need to go on one of the sides.
Put trump riiiggghhhttt......there!

found it a little odd - no h8 in stock in my closest 3 locations - could have waited 2 days for it but just took the only h7 AGM on the floor on the location I went toGood choice, but get the H8 AGM. It's like $170 and still has a 4-year warranty
