What can I say? I write a really good informative ad with great photos.
Had multiple buyers want it. A guy drove 5 hours for it.

Was getting ready to leave Saturday morning and I noticed this bulge on the side of my front passenger tire. Our 2 hour drive would have ended badly. Took my wife's Pathfinder instead. Ended up going to Costco later that day to order a set of tires. Michelin Defenders LTX MS2 - $1395. I'm still on the OEM Goodyear with 29,088 miles. I was hoping it would last me another year. Hopefully the new tires comes in and get done before next Tuesday when I need the truck to drop off the parents at JFK airport.

New tires came in and installed today.

Anyone have any suggestions for repair? I’ve heard Safelite can epoxy it but I have no prior experience with them.

Contact your insurance company. Most offer free chip repairs through Safelite. Mine even has a portal from their website to make appointment.

we use this to repair chips and it's been working great for us. if you get chips a lot then this will pay for itself in no time!

I get free repairs through insurance. Most places Safelite will come to you to do repairs. A $500 kit won't save me anything. I have used the DIY Permatex kit from the parts stores with good success on older vehicles with only comprehensive insurance.

i can see that for you it doesn't make sense.
for my offroad crew and i we have pretty bad experiences with the DIY kit, especially when exposed to hot desert climates the non-professional kits don't stop the cracks from expanding. instead of filing claims left and right and wait for the pros to come fill the chips, we just get our own kit and do it any time we get a new chip. So far none of the chips we filled have expanded with the exception of my last windshield, but that is because my dumb-*** decided to do a windshield polish AFTER i filled it and not do any repair work after polishing.

That said, i'm not carrying the $500 kit with me to go on Dalton, Cassiar, Alcan, and Dempster this summer since it's gonna be much cooler up north, so picking up some Permatex ones lol

Safelite does do it, but depending on your location the laws could limit whether its allowed. e.g. where i am they can only "repair" a windshield crack if it's on the passenger side and the entire crack and any legs it has fit in like a 6" circle (not sure of the dims) but our rule says "if the crack is within the wiper sweep of the driver's side wiper, the windshield has to be replaced regardless of size."

But again, if there are any limitations they'll tell you what they are when you call. I had it done once on a car i dont have anymore but it held up fine... NE winters make existing cracks travel a lot with heat blowin right on the cold windshield, and that crack never expanded.

Not a lot of windshield repair shops in the bush. It makes sense to stop a minor chip to continue with off-road activities before it gets worse or becomes a replacement.

Dang ! some big rounds there ! Hope you have a splitter ! After two shoulder surgeries I decided I was done with manual splitting of firewood ( apart from kindling and small stuff, or while camping )
