tomorrow heading to Bozeman, MT. Taking I-15 all the way and then cut east at Butte, MT. I'm skipping the scenic canyon drive of US-191 due to ice and snow. Another 7-8 hour drive day tomorrow.

its Really not obvious, I just know it’s there from being anal when cleaning it. I’ll have them look at it whenever I go for service and see what they say.

I doubt it’s aluminum corrosion. I owned several Mustang GTs which had a lot of issues with aluminum corrosion on the hoods but it usually took some time to develop. It would be unusual to see it on a brand new vehicle - but not impossible I guess. There’s a lot of paint surface on these vehicles and a paint nib or small gobbler or two is pretty hard to avoid in a production line scenario.

Super minor. But it’s a brand new truck. Has anyone noticed anything in their paint like this? Seems like there’s something underneath it.

Didn’t you do a pre-purchase inspection? I always do and go over the truck with a fine tooth comb. Then they get the list.
In your case though, that’s definitely a factory flaw. Warranty.

I am 6' 1" and about 270# (and 57 years old). I have driven my truck on several trips where I drove around 950 miles in a day.

For example, I drove my '19 5th Gen from Lexington, SC, to Davenport, IA, to buy my '21 5th Gen. Then I drove back the next day in my new-to-me truck. About 950 miles each way. I've done a couple of other road trips that were similar.

So far, I have not felt any need for any modifications to the factory seats. I don't have any issues with my thighs feeling like they don't have adequate support.

I would not really say they are a necessity. At least, not for most people. I did have a Laramie and now have a Limited, so have always had fully power adjustable seats, though. Maybe it's different for non-power seats.

I have looked at under seat storage options for my 2023 Ram 1500 crew cab but most of them interfere with the floor mats and/or under-floor storage bins.
So I designed and built my own frame out of 3/4” Baltic birch plywood and covered it with indoor/out door carpet. Fits great and does not compete with the mats or storage bins.

yes i do. the only thing that keeps me from actually driving through the whole tank of 500 miles was the need to take leaks. and smoke breaks.

i figured im gonna be doing 8-10 hours of driving daily from Wednesday to Saturday to cover 2000 miles so im gonna do it at my pace and enjoy the scenery lol

you're right they are not necessity. but they do move the front seat cushions up higher which is the way I prefer when i drive on highway.

you're right they are not necessity. but they do move the front seat cushions up higher which is the way I prefer when i drive on highway.

I kind of wish they made them for the 2020 Traverse my wife has. Wound really help those seats. I'm always hitting the switches to see if I can get the front up any higher. Thinking maybe it got moved by last person to drive. Fun thing is, the only ones driving it are all over 6' tall so never actually move the seat. Other than teenage step-son who does tilt the seat back more sometimes.

How is it anchored in place?
