For what it's worth this has been my experience. Alot of people seem to think hooking waze up to their truck makes their speedo read correctly. While it is true they do sync it's not correct. I drive by 3 different fixed radar detectors frequently and my speed was consistently off by 3-4 mph depending on speed. Which correlates perfectly to the tire size calculation for speed. If you want waze to read accurately you need to keep it disconnected from your truck.

Not saying that anyone here is saying that but I feel like it needs to be spelled out for future readers.

If all you want is tire size and TPMS change ability, just use alfaObd or Jscan(for iphone sheep)

What does that matter? Wireless wasn't offered until UC5. I said I don't know the answer to his question and what I was talking about was my own experience since my truck does not have wireless car play. Thanks for displaying your lack of comprehension. Just saying.

Spent an hour and a half at the dealership getting the "recall" software update performed. Will be interesting to see if this eliminates the issue I've had from the beginning where the truck acted like it wanted to stall the first couple of times I would press the accelerator after the truck sat overnight.

Had my new Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT tires installed today. 285/55/22 replaced 305/45/22 Nitto Recon Grapplers.

Had another small bubble appear on my dash pod cover.





Injected some Weldwood contact cement with an old turkey baster then heated the area with a heat gun then rolled it out, perfect.


Clamped it with 3 spring clamps and an old spare license plate to apply pressure to the whole area


Should be better than new in a few hours

Got in my truck today and noticed a low tire pressure warning. Checked my right rear and sure enough.

Swapped on my spare and got it fixed right away. Really surprised a pin with a flat end punctured the tire. That’s a first. Usually a sharp screw or nail. Must have hit just right. Back on the road and good to go.
