Those look good. Adds a bit of protection to the bumper in case you back into anything and is a good platform to mount a set of backup lights to.

First you get me wanting the sequential side markers and now these... you sir, are a bad influence. ;)

They make a bracket for back up lights that mount to the factory hitch receiver.

Finally got the Fuels and Coopers on for Winter, and treated myself to a delicious scotch ale as a reward 😁. Somehow I think this setup looked a little more aggressive on the big horn, but maybe that was because I had put black fender flares on that. Regardless I sure like these wheels

On September 5, my Wife and I got rear ended by a drunk driver, which caused me to roll into a car in front of me. He was arrested on the spot. After 2 months of Physio, and waiting for parts, I finally feel normal, and also got my truck my back. The insurance paid for all, rental, physio, no deductible. It came back better than before with lifetime warranty. They had to replace the rear bumper with many different components, the left and right panels on the box, the entire exhaust system as it was all pushed in, the trailer hitch, all the hangers for the exhaust, and wiring and harnesses. The front lower bumper was also replaced. It sounds amazing and more throaty than before but not loud. It drives like brand new as I always had it in pristine condition. It feels great to have my truck back, I was driving a 2021 Kia Seol rental, so I had to relearn how to drive a big truck again. The final bill came to $15,200.
How much of the resale value would this effect compared to a a truck that wasn’t in an accident?

Might just be the angle of the picture, but the third picture in your second post, the new rear bumper looks like it's not aligned properly.

As far as devaluation, that's hard to calculate as resale values go up and down all the time. Your best bet is to ask your insurance company if they have changed the trucks value based on the accident and repair. This would make a difference on how high the repair cost would be before they total the truck. You can then go after the at fault drivers insurance for reduced value compensation.

Congratulations on getting better, and getting your truck back. Hopefully you and your wife continue to feel well.

I agree with @HSKR R/T , your insurance company can give you a fair idea of the value, If you are actually considering selling it or trading it right now. Value down the road will be a wild guess at best, though it will always be less than a vehicle with no accidents listed.

Glad to hear you’re all fine. I have zero tolerance for drunk drivers. I call the troopers every time I suspect it. Better than pulling them out of the car at a stoplight.

Do you know if they put the GT exhaust on your truck instead? I mean I doubt they did, but if it was more readily available it’s a possibility since it’s the same style & uses the same attachment parts.

I‘ve had a Kia Soul as a rental once also. Never again. 🤮

Such a nice color man. If I didn’t settle on the Ivory white it was between that same color blue & delmonico red.

I shared a while back that my storm trooper was stolen. Looking to replace it with a Sport (Canadian) with GT package. How do you like the GT?

Those wheels are definitely sweet looking. Especially that color with the granite paint - a good compliment to the other for sure.

Has anyone replaced the B pillar trim on the doors? Seems like it should be a simple swap, thinking about replacing the melted passenger one

I like it a lot. Every toy I've ever had was a manual, and since the only other toy I have now is a bike, I like that this has a shifter. I almost never leave it in straight automatic mode. I am also constantly amazed by the exhaust tuning. It sounds great from behind and when I get on it, but when you are cruising or just standing in front of the truck you almost don't hear it at all. I also really like the seats. They are comfortable and ventilated. I could go on about some of the other things I like about it, but I think you get the picture ;)

I used to think they were decent looking, but now they just look like a new VW Beetle with a bed. And the performance is lackluster. Chevy missed the mark with them. They were overpriced when new, which is why they didnt sell very well.
They are making a comeback in popularity. Quite a few clubs established around the world. It’s a love/hate thing for most. I happen to love mine. Performance is adequate for what I need. The Flowmaster exhaust sounds great! It gets way more attention than my Ram Limited. It’s different.
I’m always approached in parking lots, conversations at stop lights, thumbs up on the road.

It's going to get attention because you just don't see them very often. I would argue that most people have never heard of them, or ever seen them. As you said, it's a love/hate thing. While I won't say I hate them, the styling definitely isn't my taste.
