Technically not today, but I did this just before I took my truck in for a new right side manifold. Painted my Hellwig red. Completely forgot I did it.
Used Duplicolor caliper paint I had. One of these days I'll actually paint my calipers. 🤦

If I really wanted to, there are ateast two every weekend I could attend.
What class do you enter in? Many shows around here don’t allow vehicles built after 1992.

Added some Ikonic hood badging today…. They look nice from a few feet away but honestly I was a little disappointed in the quality. The originals are clearly pressed plastic out of a mold while Ikonic is simply 2 pieces of plastic essentially glued together which shows a seam down the side.

when installed they ‘stick up’ further than the stock ones did, not a real big deal but I think they missed out on an opportunity to bevel the top edge like the stock ones…. And lastly, they came ready to mount with 2 sided tape already on them…. But they had a gap in the top strip…. This would allow water in behind the badge with no way to escape, so I simply sliced a few gaps on the bottom strips to allow the moisture to escape….

see the pics….. anyway, they look nice enough and I’m being a bit picky but for the price I figured they’re be a little more OEM looking…. So with that, I probably wouldn’t do it again.

There are a couple shows that are classics only, but most shows have modern classes. Especially with the Chargers, Challengers, Camaros, and Mustangs. I enter whatever class best fits. Usually truck class, sometimes Mopar class if no truck class. Really depends on the show and what classes they have. I do have a 1966 D100 that I take to shows as well.

Where did you get those hood badges? They look great.
Thanks! Reflective Concepts. I've used them before, and they are the only place I have found that makes inlays for the "etorque" portion of the sport hood

Picked up a set of Rebel wheel take offs on ebay awhile ago for $500. Stock Falken tires with 22K miles on them aren't going to cut it for this coming winter, so mounted up my new tires and wheels.

Feels good to get rid of the Bighorn wheels, by far my least favorite part of the truck.

I don't think out stocks are that bad though. They are workable with the right tires.

Well not today but on Sep 2, the day after it was delivered to my driveway. Shout out to Dennis @Accessory.Parts for getting the Undercover ArmorFlex delivered in 1 day so I could install it before our weekend trip.

What is this, your third boat this year?

Keep on living life man!!
It’s actually my 4th boat this summer. LOL
2 Larson’s, 1 Glastron and now this Monterey.
It’s a bit of a hobby. 😎
At one time this summer I had 2 boats in my driveway.
My daughter got me a T-Shirt made up because I’m always “Wheelin and Dealin“ on something.

Have you used these tires before? I am running the AT51s and wondering about their real-world snow applications.

They are great tires for the other 3 seasons of the year, I can attest to that, but I'm wondering if I need to switch them out for the winter.

I have never tried these before. Honestly I wanted Toyo’s, as I had them on my Tacoma and they wore great! But the Kumhos from Tire Rack were $250/ea, and the Toyos were around $360/ea.
