It’s not 100% perfect. But it’s still a truck that gets driven in the woods and in winter. So I didn’t get too anal.

I love your truck! Damn, do I miss Cars and Coffee... getting up early, making my coffee, driving out as the sun was rising, walking around all morning looking at amazing cars, returning home to freshly made breakfast.

Too bad people around here suck and they all drive Mustangs. Nothing against Mustangs, but 90% of the drivers around here are douchy. One of the main reasons why I sold my Trans Am, it would sit A LOT because I had nowhere to take it.

Such an unbelievably easy install. Back is 4 factory screws out, hold up the flap, 4 factory screws back in. Perfect fit. Front is 3 factory screws and a push rivet out, hold up the mud flap, push rivet back in (and if you break it taking it out, they give you 2 new ones)3 screws back in. Sexy. And they don’t have any shovels in them. GREAT design.

I had them in Montana. They lasted one stream crossing, well 3 out of four did anyway. And the next one disappears in a foot of snow. But they did look good lol

Came home yet again. Over a week now. Everyday. This red cardinal is attacking itself. Well he thinks he is. Flying into rear window, side mirrors, ****#ing all over it. I didn’t want to kill it but now I don’t care. I can never get him close. Wife said she can literally pull up. And he will fly in. He has now scratched the side mirror.

Any ideas how to get it to stop? If I come home tomorrow and there is more signs of it. Walmart and BB gun it is.

I've been debating on adding the spoiler, mainly because I hate putting fingerprints when closing the tailgate and this would provide a good grip. I hadn't seen it on a Rebel and I kinda like it.

Do you have any other pics? Like a further one from the side?

Like this or direct side?

I have one that has been doing that to me on my bedroom window for a month now every morning at 730 for hours. Just bashes himself into the windows all day every day. It really sucks because I work second shift and he wakes me up every morning.

Not really related, but maybe the same technique could help you:

I had a woodpecker doing a number to the side of our house. I looked into various ideas (and learned that killing it would be illegal, if I even had a way of doing so that wouldn’t involve putting even bigger holes into the siding), including an overpriced device that plays owl sounds.

Something that plays nothing but owl sounds seemed like a waste, but it gave me an idea: use a Bluetooth speaker to play owl sounds I found on YouTube.

It worked! I’d leave the speaker out for 4-6 hours per day, for several days in a row so the woodpecker wouldn’t come back. After no more than a week of doing this, I’d stop putting the speaker out, and the woodpecker wouldn’t return for several months. When it did, I’d just put the speaker out for another few days, and it’d be gone again.

This has worked for me for about two years, and I’ve only had to put the speaker out for three or four stretches.

Are cardinals afraid of owls? Maybe it’s time to find out.

This is a good idea. Or I was going to suggest a decoy owl on your house to ***** it off.

Or you could get one of those long, thin 12 gauge speakers. They’re pretty loud and cardinals are afraid of those when you shoot them in their stupid bird-face with it.

Haha well I’m not what you’d call a “stream crosser” #ghostbusters so I think I’ll be ok. We’ll see how they last the winter tho.

Threw on my overlays from TheOverlayGuy. Probably the hardest thing I've done to this truck. Might end up ordering another set down the road, but this will do for now.

Did the 3rd brake light too, but forgot to take a picture.

EDIT: Took a photo of the brake light.

So i'm told my tonneau will be my Father's Day gift this year, so my next endeavor was looking at the window vent visor things. and i'm kinda torn betwixt the Weather Techs and the Westin ones for the "in-channel style" I looked at the AVS and they don't come all the way down in front of the side mirrors, which surprisingly i do not like. surprising how expensive these things have gotten tho haha or maybe thats just me buying them as an old man now hahaha

I'll be getting the Mopar one. They're the best looking in my opinion.
