Installed my Weathertech bug/stone shield. Not quite as easy as they make it out to be. I had to replace one on the fasteners, because it just wouldn't hold the driver's side end (stripped). Found longer ones at O'Reilly's.

There's always one!

I just noticed that big glob of bird poop on my bumper. :ROFLMAO:

If I had to it over again, I would have went with the Mopar matte black one. The Weathertech just looks very blah, to me. There's no definition. It reminds me of a bubble.

Honestly, I might just order the Mopar one anyway.

Also got my Hellwig sway bar delivered today, too. (y)

I was thinking of adding the bug deflector and now I know I don’t want it. Thank you for sharing.

OEM black tow “hooks” installed. Look pretty beefy in person. Went black instead of chrome and think I made the right choice.

My concern now is since they are actually tow rings, I’d be afraid to use my D-Rings without damaging the bumper. Hopefully I never need them I guess.

I'm a very mechanically inclined person and I though the weathertech bug deflector was a pain to install. I don't think it was molded the best where the tabs are. I had to fight with it for a little bit to get it on. It's ok. I wish it was contoured a little to the hood lines but for $60 I can't complain too much.

So what’s everyone doing with the front plate. Are you guys not getting tickets for no front plates?

I live in CA and front plates are a requirement, that being said, I have not had a front plate on my Daily driver in 15 years. I have gotten plenty of tickets and they never have said anything about the front plate.🤷‍♂️

Put in the Rough Country wheel well liners. Kind of a pain because as soon as I set them outside the clouds came in so I didn’t get that flexibility everyone mentioned. But worth it. Heard a rock hit the liner instead of the metal and it was music to my ears. 998012FC-2C79-412E-B902-C5D2D4CC4BCA.jpeg 4ED355BA-F786-4CFA-B3A9-4105DAA3A5B4.jpeg

A few things I have done. Knob plate, rhino bedliner, window tint (front to match rear and windshield strip). Just ordered a Mopar hitch cover also. Was going to get wheel well liners but heard there was a recall on aftermarket ones? News to me

Installed the Weathertech window wind deflectors. The have a little depression for the power mirrors to fold in, and low profile. I had a bit of trouble getting one of the back window deflectors in because it kept catching the weather stripping wrong, but finally got it sorted.

The Mopar wheel liners fit perfectly so I decided to try spyder tail lights today!

That's why I, personally, only order the front ones. Did that on my 2018 JGC, too. I never use the back windows, really.

Did your fronts seem a little "loose" to you?

Made up some led strip lights with some left over channels I had, used RGB led strip lights so I can turn it on/off, change the colour, and dim it with my phone. The white light has a bit of a blue tint to it but I think it'll be easier on the eyes late at night and not completely ruin my night vision, but thats also why I wanted to be able to change it to red too. I'll be wiring up a switch panel, fuse box, and solar charge controller later on so I can turn other lights on, and charge phones, speakers or what ever while camping.

I don't know if "loose" is the right term, but the driver side one took a bit to seat. It was on the side of the truck that wasn't getting sun, so the molding wasn't as warm as on the passenger side.
