What did you do to your Ram today???

New to the forum and Ram itself but loving it so far...Today I did my first official mod to the truck...Added the MGP Caliper Covers in red...Install was very simple, other than having to jack up the truck and remove each tire separately...I think they look pretty decent and add a nice little touch...Ordered Go Rhino RB20 running boards that should be here Friday and also ordered the color matched front bumper covers that should be there any time...I think I’m going to powder coat the front tow hooks red...Here are the pics of the caliper covers...

Well as luck would have it my front bumper plugs were waiting for me in my mailbox...Mod #2 complete!

Front plates are state specific. A lot of states don’t have them.

And just like that it is gone. Or, at least I can't find it on their site any longer. Seemed to be pretty well optioned.

New raptor pricing just dropped. Starting at $64. Me thinks they really are going to release the competitor to the trx.

Installed my Weathertech bug/stone shield. Not quite as easy as they make it out to be. I had to replace one on the fasteners, because it just wouldn't hold the driver's side end (stripped). Found longer ones at O'Reilly's.

I just noticed that big glob of bird poop on my bumper.

If I had to it over again, I would have went with the Mopar matte black one. The Weathertech just looks very blah, to me. There's no definition. It reminds me of a bubble.

Also got my Hellwig sway bar delivered today, too.

Nebraka requires them, but cops usually don't bother you about it. I've been pulled over three times in 20 years for no front plates, and all three of those times were by state patrol on the other side of state from where I live. Fix it tickets each time. Never gotten a fix it tickets signed off, just ignored them.

Except for the four holes in my front bumper... couldn’t they have done a bracket that didn’t require holes.

Some states do not require front plates, thank goodness. LOL.

Made up some led strip lights with some left over channels I had, used RGB led strip lights so I can turn it on/off, change the colour, and dim it with my phone. The white light has a bit of a blue tint to it but I think it'll be easier on the eyes late at night and not completely ruin my night vision, but thats also why I wanted to be able to change it to red too. I'll be wiring up a switch panel, fuse box, and solar charge controller later on so I can turn other lights on, and charge phones, speakers or what ever while camping.

Took tomorrow off. OEM tow hooks arrived today to throw on, and another set of speakers for the boat. Finally a nice weekend to enjoy.
