This is drink is really for all you guys on the board! Cheers and happy Ram Friday!

and here's another thing....it especially bothers me with the White Rams....its the white wheel well area with the black bolts.....does that not bother anyone?? Shouldn't that be painted black to match the rest of the wheel well? Has anyone done this? I don't understand how that doesn't drive you guys crazy.... Thoughts???
And I thought I was bad. LOL!

I'm kidding. It does bother me a little, but, I don't have a white truck. ;)

There are very few benefits to any CAI other than the Vararam or the MOPAR Ram Air. You can look at Corsa, S&B, etc. They are all the same. I stay away from K&N and go with dry filter options. You can also use your stock airbox, remove the carbon filter and install a drop-in AFE and you will get the same results for $42 that you would have gotten with $300. These units do very little for HP and Torque regardless of what the manufacturers advertise...their marketing hype is all BS.

Search this forum and you will find a lot of info on CAI's and what folks have done with plenty of pics.

Thanks for the info!

installed the borla s this afternoon. Took maybe 3 hours and 2 beers. Dropped the spare and removed heat shield, unbolted stock exhaust, then had to jack the truck up a little to get enough clearance to get the drive side over the axle and out. Not to hard of a process, if you have ramps or a lift, probably would take 30-45 mins. Install only took maybe 30 mins total, need to go back under and adjust one tip, could not get it centered and got tired of trying, was ready to hear how it sounded.

Call me crazy but....I'm surprised I haven't seen something to take your eye away from the seam on the 60/40 multi-function tailgate. I LOVE the split tailgate and I wish I had it. The seam isn't a problem on the black trucks but wheew it's so gaudy on the light colored trucks. I think a vinyl like this would be great.....any other ideas??
One reason is because it's a !@#$% to get the vinyl to lay right when you are applying it to the Ram's tailgate. I had to apply mine wet and in 3 different sections to get it perfect.

I have the distressed flag theme throughout the truck, the vinyl on the tailgate seemed like a must.

My current vehicle has Formula1 ceramic tint. Added it the summer I moved to GA (from NH). Wow, best thing I ever did to vehicle, and will be first thing I do to next vehicle (RAM).

Look over the energy rejection rates total, and IR, to see what works. I got talked into Pinnacle 35 on all windows with Stratos 70 on full windshield. Can't tell its there. Clear visibility even at night. AC went from running full blast to cool car on a sunny day to running on low all the time. I can't imagine what AZ summers would be like without a ceramic tint to cut down on solar energy doing into interior.

Talk to a good installer, or a couple to see what's out there. They know local laws, and what works, and can guide you. Best of luck.
You wouldn’t happen to be in the atlanta area in ga would you? I’m looking for a tint recommendation

The 3M IR ceramic is a good tint but is no Crystalline. I have Crystalline on my BMW and I cannot feel the heat of the sun when I’m driving towards it. With the IR I can still fell it but not as much as not having it.

For the front windshield, I tinted the entire windshield. 70% is an almost clear tint but with ceramic you benefit from blocking the infrared rays, which is what I was looking for. I paid $650 for all the windows on my truck, to include the pano.
I’m happy to hear this. I got my windshield done in 60% crystalline (and the rest of my windows are 5% ceramic) so I’m hoping it helps a lot once it gets hotter!

Installed Weathertech #50272 Stone and bug deflector today while waiting for my TRX Red ignition switch to show up! I think it looks awesome with the night edition grill and grill surround. Install was a breeze. Took longer to go get my trim tool pin puller. 👌

I dropped in a K&N air filter. I didn't want to spend all the money for a CAI, I guess. I had one on my JGC. The sound messed with my ANC system.

So, it's not too bad installing this? I almost ordered one with the vent shades.

Tried to clean up my tires, but not having great luck. I want to stay away from tire shines as I can't get them to spread evenly on the Duratracs. I used a Meguiars tire/wheel cleaner, and I've also tried the Adams one but I can't get rid of the brown color!
