I added a front and rear dashcam, Thinkware Q800 Pro, hid all the wires and tapped into the fuse panel.

Also had ceramic tint done this morning. Went with 35% all the way around including the panoramic sunroof, and a 5% brow tint just below the AS1 line.

Great looking Ram. I like the brow tint too. I had not thought of doing that, but it looks great.

Thanks! I had it on my old car sitting behind the truck and I didn’t realize how much difference it makes especially when you are driving when the sun is just above the horizon.

Yeah, I drive to work going east and drive home going west, so the sun hits my face both ways and is in my eyes. If windshields did not have UV protection, I could get a pretty nice tan (or carcinoma) on my face from just driving to and from work. Thanks for the great idea.

Installed the TruxPort tonneau today. I usually go with the low profile covers, but wanted one that mounted on top of the bed rails on this truck to allow for a little extra height. Gotta fit that giant cooler under there without having to always move it to line up under the support rods. It looks better than I anticipated. (y)

Installed the Matte Black inlays from Reflective Concepts. Need to do the side RAM badges now too. Too much chrome for my liking, these hide just enough and it matches the Bighorn badge that's black on chrome.

Lost over a foot of bed space from my Gen 4 to the new truck. Installed yakima hd bars with an off grid basket to make up for it for camping and long vacations. Pretty happy with the results!

Did some outside detailing today.

Tried the new Turtle Wax Seal and Shine. Pan on youtube really liked it and it seemed to test very well. Gonna see how it compares to CarPro reload that has been on it since purchase 8 months ago with two applications over those 8 months. For fun I put some Chemical Guys cherry wax on the hood to see if it added gloss.

Nice! I have a Pace Edwards Ultragroove coming and plan to employ a similar setup once it’s here.

Thanks! It definitely solves the storage problem I was having. My decision is solely based on storage and has nothing to do with camping with my buddies and the kayak I’m looking at buying. The things I have to say to not upset the wife on stacks of yakima packages showing up.

Finally had a chance to install the other pair of Infinity speakers in the fronts doors. Just need to install the lc7i and the 5 channel amp. Anyone have any tips to unpin the wire harness at the amp?

Those yakima hd bars look sharp.

Thanks. I went with them because of their carrying capacity, the t-channel through the whole bar, and they have an anchor point for straps on each side.

Installed painted mirror covers. Took my time with a flathead screwdriver and didn't break either mirror!
