Here's a random one for those with Ramboxes. I found an 18" tool tote bag that fits the perfect width and height of the Ramboxes. You can't have it right in the center because of the latch area, but this will work perfect for an on-the-go tool kit etc. Now to throw some real tools in it...

Finally got my swingcases back from getting lined and put back in. You have 4” of clearance towards the back and 5” towards the cab. I added some pictures below.

Damn, these things look so much better after they’re lined.

Another heads up if you pull the trigger on the swing cases. Call undercover direct and buy a set of replacement lids. The lids get scuffed up over time (this may not bother you but it drives me crazy). For $50 they will send you 2 replacement lids with hinges installed and an additional 4 hinges with the hinge extraction tool. This should more than cover you for the life of the truck. My stock of swing case parts in my garage is getting excessive but I’ve got brackets, lids, and hinges in case of an issue in the future.

No, it has not so far.

Really? Which speakers did you go with? I noticed a major difference in the highs and overall clarity. Same with the rear door speakers. Keep in mind that the polarity is reversed on our systems, so you have to swap the wires around to get the best sound quality.

Did you use the Metra adapters?

I used BedRug part # BRI-BRT09BXK, which is technically made for the older body short bed with RamBoxes. It ended up fitting near perfect. I'm not sure why BedRug doesn't just market that model as being compatible with the newer body with RamBoxes. I got mine on Realtruck.com and chatted with them for a slight discount. This is interesting info - thanks for sharing. I was looking to just get the BedRug mat, not the full liner. I think I may order the one for the Classic model and see how it fits.

I did the Infinity Reference speaker, fronts, rear ceiling, 2 way in rear doors and the woofer from the component system in the front doors , I just did plug and play with the metra adapters.

I didn’t switch any polarity and I switched all of my dash, doors and overhead speakers and I don’t notice any distortion or issues.

I seem to remember reading that’s on the Alpine system and affects the door speakers only if I recall, I’m sure someone will correct me if that’s incorrect.

Tested my patience and tinted the center sensor section of the Taillights. Still deciding on whether or not to do the entire light. Knifeless tape definitely helped.

Maybe it was the dash, as I said I could be wrong but I do recall something regarding polarity and the Alpine.

Decided to jump on the mud flap train. I stalled my Husky mud flaps this afternoon. I don't plan to off-road anytime soon, so I just used the outside screws and the sticky on the inside for now. Time will tell if I need to add that additional retaining clip that they provide.

Using same method I installed Husky on my rebel about 10 months ago and.............. No issues.
