Thanks gents. Here is why I am asking. My 17’ charger (loved that car) see attached picture, was blacked out and trying to do same for truck but the chrome bumpers are my dilemma. Chrome or blacked out wheels/tires combo. Can’t wrap my head around which one. nice problem to have tho!

I would go black with machined wheels, or bronze looks really good with the red.

Well today I dryed the 8 inch by 8 inch wet patch on my driver side carpet, then I applied silicone to a small hole in the welding bend that was allowing small amounts of water into my cab. Hopefully it's fixed.

I debadged the vendor decals from my Roll-n-lock and my step up bars for a cleaner look. I used a springsteel pry tool that I had polished all of the burrs off of to keep from scratching underneath.

I also swapped out the factory mats for a set of weathertechs due to a very sheddy dog of mine.

Spent 10 minutes installing the after market bed extenders parts on the bed frame. Very happy to know working bed length can go from 5'6" to 7'0" in a pinch.

During the install, noticed the left tailgate cable (I don't know if there is an official name for this part) was loose when the gate was already down. The right one was taut. I'm not sure what proportion of weight placed on the open gate is born by these cables vs the hinge in the gate, but either way I assume both should be equally taut. Trouble is I see no simple way to adjust the length of the cable. Before cutting off the heat wrap on the loose one to learn more how it's connected, I wanted to see if any one else has this problem or a recommended solution?

because of course.

I just noticed monday that I too have this problem. I was actually considering shimming it to address the issue rather than go back to FCA service center hell.

First oil change today, 5500 miles and went with full synthetic and a Fumoto valve. Oil filter was a pain, who ever puts the oil filter on in the factory needs to lighten up a bit...

Installed the JBL Cub 3.5s in the front corners. Like it, but not blown away(ears are 52 years old). Tomorrow is spray in liner and Nfab podium step bars.

Added Weathertech molded plastic mudflaps to my 2020 3500 Laramie. Didn't have a listing for the 2020, so I ordered them for a 2019. They fit perfectly. Very well designed, about $80 for the set of 4.

The bed extenders are great. I purchased a AMP one and I must say that the bed extender makes the top 4 list of best upgrades on truck.
