oil change..... they put a stabilizer bar right in the flow line of the oil coming out of the pan, and the steering box is right under the filter....plus the filter was on sooo tight... took me a bit to get it off.

How difficult was it to replace the letters? I have the black letters for the Rebel but haven't replaced them yet.
Not difficult if you got the right tools. I took the advice of another forum member who suggested using a utility knife to pry the bottom of the letters away from the bracket and then slide a plastic panel tool behind the letter and pry them off by applying pressure where the retaining clips are located. I got all 3 letters off without any damage so if I get tired of the black I can go back to silver, but I'm liking the black. I haven't checked but maybe somebody has done a youtube video, it's becoming a very popular mod.

Washed her and ran errands. You can see where someone kissed my bumper a couple of months ago. 09566FFD-9402-43CA-908A-F037A7536328.jpeg

Would a "no spill drain plug" help? About the filter; not much can be done IMHO, apart from devising some sort of funnel to help in reducing splashes...

Almost a perfect day! Picked up license plates, had the dealer run my truck through the wash, and went to get the new tires installed...AMP Terrain Attack 33x12.50r22s.

The shop let me hang out around the vehicle and that’s when I discovered this gem...FML! 339B6179-271C-4DB3-A9FD-E47A338BBC9B.jpeg F38EBE1E-089C-45B1-A986-4C47F53CD695.jpeg B46000EB-0CD4-4FC8-A0A9-99EF3F55E7C6.jpeg

In the last week I’ve done four things.
I added mud flaps (Mopar), added a spray in bed liner, added amp step to back, and rough country side steps. Very pleased with all additions.

Next decision..........tonneau cover.....leaning towards the undercover ultra flex......but like what I’m hearing about the Tiger...especially price point.

LockerDown has an awesome safe, I just installed one in my 2019 RAM 3500 LongHorn & my Wife's 2019 RAM 1500 LongHorn. It took all of about 10 minutes to install.

Do not know about the no spill drain, it is right in front of the flow.... as for the filter... I use alum foil to wrap the components under the filter to best keep them from getting saturated in oil...

I haven't changed the oil yet on this one so not sure the setup, but my favorite way to not make a mess with an oil filter is to break it loose with my tool, then grab a solo cup and spin it the rest of the way off with the cup. Cup catches the filter and whatever runs down the side. Hopefully it fits on this truck. I usually pump the oil out from the top also.

I think I will try a baggie next time for the filter, so I can contain the oil

busy weekend. installed the motofab 2.5" leveling kit, OEM black tow hooks and oem black exhaust tips
Where did you get the oem black exhaust tips? Are they 4" or 5"? Can you just remove the chrome ones and bolt on the new ones or do you have to cut anything?

Most of us have gone with the Fumoto F106SX to enable pointing it where we want it.
