What did you do to your Ram today???

I’m the same way but $1500 is more than it’s worth to me right now. Did you buy the bearing kit? Probably gonna year your bearings off pulling your gear set out

Yes I did.
Totally understand and I agree to a point. I’m just neurotic lol.

Brake/Gas pedal recall complete.
First oil and filter change at 2K.
Where are you located? Went to my dealer in PA the other day and they said the parts are on backorder for the brake pedal.

They only did the power steering recall and ordered parts for my brake squeal

Loosened clamp bolts and adjusted the tips, very easy.

I would be interested in more detail if possible.. I looked under mine and couldn’t quite figure this out.

Received and installed transfer case and suspension skid plates, no gas tank available yet. Waiting on tow hooks in transit.

Interesting, mine came from factory tucked. I guess whoever installs has some leeway as to how far to let ‘em stick out.

Installed these decals over RAM lettering both front and back (I have a Rebel). Very happy with them. Thanks @ChadT for the link! I went with Matte Black over Gloss Black. You can also go with Red/white/blue or a combo like ChadT has. They also have other lettering/decals. Link:

Another company that has a great selection of vinyl letter overlays for our trucks is www.ReflectiveConcepts.com in case you need more choices/colors. They have wide color range plus carbon fiber look. Outdoor quality die cut vinyls and inexpensive.

Why 2K???
So I don't have a maintenance plan for oil changes, tire rotations etc. I took the truck in about a week after I got it to have a door lock repaired. The tech broke some door panel pins and never told me. I know these often break when removing them so I checked before leaving the lot. At least 3 along the bottom edge were gone. The tech was willing to let me go with it like that. I raised a stink and got a free oil change for the trouble. I was going back for the pedal recall and figured it was a good time to get the original oil out. I will run this fill to about 5-6k and swap it out for full synthetic. It's likely they won't tough the truck unless warranty work it needed.

Took off the chrome Classic badges and the dealer emblem, tinted the front windows and put on a sun strip, dropped in a K&N air filter and gave her a bath.

Anyone use this chipyoucar.com "chip"? They claim 60hp from a can tune and 5-6 MPG so I am 100% skeptical. Anyone have real world experience. Other google reviews are on different trucks and say they are a scam
I’m curious about this too... Any use this product I too have read mixed reviews. Hard to tell what’s true and what’s not....

I just put a TURBO sticker on mine and got the same result:ROFLMAO: This just yells the word SCAM and shocked that anyone would even consider this snake oil device but we'd all love to hear the results you get after installation.........

Loosen this clamp, I used a 13mm socket, align tips how you want them, left/right/up/down, then tighten

Just look at the tail pipe where the tip and pipe meet and you will see a clamp and a bolt as in the above picture by @DR.CR based on which exhaust system you have on your truck (may all be the same but I have a Limited so not sure). By simply loosening this bolt just slightly, the entire tip can be manipulated side to side and up and down and, when it is exactly positioned where you want it, just retighten the clamp...that simple!

Added a hitch shackle and painted it red
