What did you do to your Ram today???

Not specifically today, but over the last couple weeks I swapped to my summer wheels/tires, steering wheel. Had hood decal and front RAM vinyl installed. Installed Swarfworks hidden winch mount with Smittybuilt 12k Winch. Installed AJT Volume knobs and had paint correction/ ceramic coating applied. She's all ready for summer.

That steering wheel is amazing.

I'm interested in knowing the performance gained by the engine mods you have. Did you report on them previously? Do you have and dyno evaluation? You've had some serious work done!

I debadge everything i get. I think it looks cleaner, it's easier to wash AND wax when it's de-badged. Just did my '21 Ram 1500 BTS today. Same thing- I used fishing line and a plastic razor blade. My adhesive came off easy since my truck was a factory order and I've only had it a week.

I personally don't really like the look of the badge on the hood (on the sides--says Hemi or EcoDiesel.) Can they be removed easily? I'd keep them for whoever has the truck after me. Did you remove those with just the fishing line? What did you use for the adhesive? GooGone?

I love the look of the wood panels, but...don't you have spiders? I don't clean my walls continuously, but sometimes I clear the cobwebs. Spiders also leave all kinds of stains.

Anyway, great look. Perhaps you can show off a more complete view.

Last Thursday I put on the GatorTrax MX tonneau cover. Today I put gas in it for the first time. A little shock compared to filling up the Camry that it replaced!

I did do a before dyno but have yet to do an after dyno. I should have done one earlier this spring to match the conditions of the original one. From everything I’ve seen what I’ve done should have added around 100 HP and torque to the wheel and I started at 305HP to the wheel if I recall correct. Truck is much more responsive and it’s easy to break even my AT tires loose. I’m pretty careful with it off the go tho as even tho I have the core 4x4 arms I don’t want to snap anything. I’d say the sound of it is my favorite part tho. But as always, adding HP just leaves you wanting more hence my future 426 plans…

Over the weekend I colour matched my radio and centre console bezels.

Nice work! Was it hard to separate the bezels from the rest of the unit?

I recently took mine out to do some wiring and wrapped the bezel in brushed aluminum. I did it with the bezel still on, it looked like I was going to have to break some plastic tabs to separate the bezel from the unit.

Busy weekend!

The Mrs. was feeling left out with the upgrades, so I installed some bed lights and tailgate OPT7 triple row light bar.

Added the red start button (I hear it adds 50HP):

Joined the club with the dog bench. Lots of road trips this year so I elevated mine to allow for suitcases/backbacks to be below the bench, and kept it at the perfect level so my Aussies get enough of the AC. Added fatigue mat and foam bolstering to it because...well...I'd like to think my dogs would do the same for me.

Where did find the red button?!

It's not hard at all, have to pull some panels for the console but other than that super easy.

The wait is over and have a project for Saturday. I really don't want to remove the radio. I'm thinking I'm going to try to remove the knee panel and go up from there. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Yes, just take the two screws out from the knee panel, pull it off, reach up and change it. If you have long arms, you can even do it without removing the panel.
