What did you do to your Ram today???

I bit the bullet and grabbed the LASFIT LED replacement bulbs for the Stock Halogens without replacing the housings. Made a HUGE difference in light output. Images posted showing difference as I replaced each bulb. Kind of sucks trying to get to that low beam, but once I decided to go through the wheel well, it wasn't too bad.

I didn't do that. I tied to the Courtesy lights tan wire in the bundle in channel running along the door sills on the drivers side and used it to drive a relay back to the battery. That way they come on and off with the other exterior illumination.
I also added 2 inside under the rear bench so the kids could see the floor and be sure they grabbed all of their crap on the way out.

Yeah personal preference. If you want constant power its either the red wire in the trailer plug or the battery. Tapping into the tan wire isn't a bad route either.

I ran a wire and fuse from the battery and added a magnetic switch so the lights come on whenever i drop the tailgate. Left the manual on/off switch too. Great mod if you have a tonneau.

Detailed my laramie and the wife's Volvo since it was 65 and gorgeous out. Claybar and 303 Graphene sealant. Can't lift my arms and my back is angry, but the shine is worthwhile.

Got the first oil change done, getting that factory filter off is fun as seems to be the typical experience around here. Love how the redline bottles fit right in so I can let it pour while I grab the next one :D

Haha! I know your pain. My wife and I also have a XC90 (Polestar R-design)!! Two weeks ago, we washed em back-to-back and took the rest of the day to detail/wax both of them.

At least you can say 'we.' I did it on my own volition, but im not sure i'll go full monty on both by myself in the same day again. It's really quite a pain in the *** to detail for such a small SUV. The lip below the doors...ughhhhh.

Changed the oil for the first time at 2k miles on my laramie. As previous post about oil filter position, I did get it off, while using the gallon bag technique. HOWEVER, getting that b!tch out due to how tight the steering components are was a different story.

After some oil spillage, had a beer to relax after. Next up, is my charger oil change.

Owner of a 2020 Ram Laramie (leveled with 2" rc struts and 1" rear spacer on 33.5" toyo open country) , 16 Dodge Charger scat pack and my wife 21 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara (2.5" rc lift with 35" duratracs)

I changed my oil for the first time last week using the gallon bag method. I had minimal oil dropped, but my arms did get tired holding the bag up since I had the truck up on a lift. The only oil drips I got were the few drips after I finagled the filter out and before I got the new one on. I figured it's not too bad considering the problems I've read people are having.

Tell me more about this oil filter difficulty. Haven't heard about it yet.

i watched my oil change dudes fight the filter for 15 minutes i dont know what kind of robot installs em at the facotry but they need to take it down a notch

Honestly, the filter itself wasn't too hard to get off for me, but the filter is in a small space directly above the axle and if you don't use a ziplock bag you'll get oil all over the components directly below the filter. It's just really messy and a lot of cleanup without the baggie.

I think you're a bit confused.... unless you only want your trucks bed lights to come on when you reverse you aren't pulling power from a 5 pin connector for this application... People use a 5 pin connector to wire auxiliary REVERSE lights. For constant power tap into the red trailer wire, or run one from the battery.

Results of a google search.....

Ram trucks use a USCAR 7 pin plug and a 4 pin Flat.
