What did you do to your Ram today???

Finished blacking out the badging. Sport hood bezel and RAM door badges. Just taped the hood bezel off and popped the clips carefully. Then pulled the rest of it up. Door badges were pretty simple, heat, pull letters off, eraser wheel adhesive then clean the paint up and stick new ones on. View attachment 80567

Looks great. You got a part # for that eTorque sport hood badge?

This was a fun weekend. Installed the Readylift 3.5" SST, swapped for a Body Armor Ambush series front bumper, and put on 35x12.50x20 Ridge Grapplers on Fuel Vapor 20x9 +1 wheels. Added some nerf bars so the lady can still get in... Finally feels like a truck.

Now to just get a light bar and some cubes to throw in the new bumper. Anyone know if it's possible to wire up some LED cube lights to the factory fog light switch? I'm thinking all would be needed is a wiring harness...

I've read of people adding the OEM bed lighting and having to activate that function for the switch to work. That would make me believe that the headlight/fog light/bed light switch is a module and not just a wired switch.

Very nice...great job. It is always best to not tap into an existing circuit as these trucks are very sensitive to voltage and current draws based on all of the electronic modules. I suggest a separate switch. The link below is a nice option.

Hmmm, well I already had fogs in my previous bumper so the wiring is all there, it's just that the LED cubes have a different connector than the 9006 connector. I found a 9006 to Deutsch connector so I'm going to try it. The cubes pull way less power than the previous fogs so don't think it'll be an issue unless it draws too little power so the computer freaks out.

Damn, you are going to pay a LOT more for OEM accessories than if you had them included on your build! Protection Group is $395 MSRP, which of course would be discounted further on your full truck negotiation. I'm over $400 without the tow hooks so far, and another $242 for shipping! I'll be over 2X the window sticker adder once I add tow hooks.

What's a better idea? I think I can avoid some shipping if I have the dealer order for me, but I'll pay a less discounted price, right?

Horrible pics, sorry guys.....anyways. Had the hoop step sides (Carr brand) and Motofab 2.5 level on for a few weeks already just haven’t had the chance to upload pics. Today I swapped out the bighorn 18x8’s for some sport 20x9’s. Going to put on some 275/65/20 all terrains next. Hope to make my truck look badass like some of ya’ll.

Looking good!

Thank you! How are you liking your 22” rims? I was thinking of going with those later if I lower it. I like the black color
Thanks... very happy with the truck snd the 22's so far but you know how the mid itch is gotta tinker so trying to figure out what's next!

Thank you, they’re Carr brand and made for our trucks. Drilling through the pinch weld was killer though lol

I went drop step too, but full bar. I really like this look though. I can’t believe they didn’t adjust the design so it didn’t require drilling.

Washed her since coming back from Pidgeon Forge and their salted roads.

Also put some TW Seal and Shine on the windows...wipers were chattering....hope this smooths them out.

I did the same thing last month. You have a few more options than I do though. How are you liking the EcoDiesel VS the Hemi?
Honestly so far I couldn’t be happier. I did it because of my 80 mile round trip daily for work and towing my RV fish house. I have 11,500 miles on already, 2,000 of that towing the camper. It tows much nicer and the gas mileage is far superior. It took a little getting used to as far as how it drives compared to the hemi. Since I’m not a hot rod driver it fits me nicely. The only thing I miss about my Hemi truck was the 6’-4” box with the crew cab. But I can live with the short box
