In NY? No way, lolBe glad you can tint the front at all, NY is a PITA.
what’s really fun is when you get pulled over by the town police for it, then you remove it and have to have them sign off on the ticket. When I went to their police station 80% of vehicles in the lot had it on. Some cops just have nothing better to do than be a hypocrite.
True. I had our Maxima done the same way and I haven't had a problem yet.....yet.Be glad you can tint the front at all, NY is a PITA.

Found a purpose for my cigarette lighter plug.
Removed the lighter and installed a LED toggle switch.

The toggle switch controls my LED lights.

I wired the off road lights to my high beam switch.

The lower LED strips are also turn signals.

If I kill the switch, it kills the LEDs and the off road lights. I can use just the high beams but the amber turn signals still function.View attachment 76117
How does your rear setup ride? I’m interested in those ICON coils! Nice looking truck btw. 6’4 bed FTW!Got my wheels and tires today. Also got an alignment after putting the Bilstein 6112's in the front and 5100's and Icon Coils in the rear.View attachment 75084View attachment 75085

That’s a million times better! How did you get the lights to turn on with the step or turn on when you unlock or open the door?
Lol mine has about an inch! And I still drive it in care freeMine just barely fits, 6” to spare.

Oh, makes sense! I installed led strips under my doors too but I don’t have steps and I want them to come on when I unlock the truck or open the door like the puddle lights do, but I can’t figure out how besides actually splicing into the factory puddle light wiring which I don’t really want to do because I don’t want to have any warranties voided because of splicing into factory wiresI just wired them into the wiring harness that comes with the AMP steps instead of the lights that they include. They automatically come on when the steps deploy.
Not at all. Only had to pop out the Uconnect system which comes out fairly easily. That is so awesome, did you have to get the dash out?
