What did you do to your Ram today???

Trailer brake controller installed.....super easy. Now I just need someone on the north side of Houston with an OBD to hook me up ;)

Did a little work on the tailgate. Custom Billet Badge (www.BilletBadges.com), and deleted the Laramie and 4X4 badges. Also, added the Diamondback SE tonneau cover last week. Next week = 3.5 inch lift, wheels, tires, running boards, Helwig sway bar, and tuffy console gun safe.
Those are awesome. I just re-did all of my emblems with OEM black badges and painted the lettering and RAM's head white.

Walked outside at 5:30 this morning with the intention of doing a full paint correction but it’s just too damn hot. She still got pampered with a strip wash, iron decontamination, another strip wash, clay bar, Mothers Chrome Polish, ISPA wipe down followed by Turtle Wax Seal and Shine. Slapped on the new AVS Aeroskin deflector. Now to go take a cold shower and drink a beer!

I have that TSB done already. This isn’t for the rear brake loan when backing up. My calipers made small squeaks as I hit the brakes, even if not pad to rotor contact. The TSB you’re referencing did solve my howling noise when backing up though.
It's amazing the brake issues these are experiencing. Brakes are usually not a issue with new gens.

Let us know how you like them. I’m torn between those and some Pirelli ATs.

As Tony da Tiger say, THEY R GREAT> Comparable to Coopers or LTX's. Holds road well in all conditions, NOW do not ask about snow, we get less than 3" a year. But a lot of rain/mud/flooding. They R really comparable to the above stated. Only CON, aggressive tread equals more pickup in tires. Now, if U plan to 4 X 4 insanely, these 1/2 do. U have to go up to Lifts, BFG's, Nitto's, etc, massive tires. But for regular pasture driving, road driving, towing trailers and such, great. Very lil road noise and not much of a hit on MPG, all ABOVE IMHO...

ADDED: Neva had Pirelli's, have had Toyo AT's on wife's Triton Ford, and these are just a slight bit better than them. But opinions on tires, filters, oil, fuel like another PART of the body. WE all got em, and they vary in type and odor.....

CAVEAT: My only big complaint, is the poor performing AC, see AC Hacks..

Fully agree, I’ve never complained so much about these brakes. I’ve still got the front brake anti rattle clip chirp happening that I won’t bring in until a TSB is made!

I like this idea. You plan on doing a write up?
Thanks. I will do and plan on taking plenty of pictures. There was a guy on YouTube that had the actual AMP steps put on his RAM. They had the AMP factory lights attached and he wasn't happy with them. He was replacing his with the Lux's. He really liked the output and that they were magnetic. His did not have the opaque plastic lens covers though. I'm hoping it doesn't take away from the light output or color. If so, those covers are coming off. I also liked these because they are designed for Jeeps and rock crawlers. I'm also hoping that adds to the longevity. I really have to give props to RamVader and this forum though. He found the connection point that in my opinion is the best for the novice or timid at heart person. I looked at the gaggle of wires there with the steps but that was too involved for me. I stopped even thinking about it. I don't have an electrical engineering degree. I need it as simple as possible and the least evasive.

You on stock suspension?

YES, the Bighorn sits nice, total height 77" and just a lil, enuf fer me. But remember, these R standard size tires on stock rims, same size came with the truck. I just do not go in for all the fancy $2K of rims and such. My CRAGAR days (or cheap Keystones) R far behind me.
