Added a set of go rhino dss side steps so the little one could climb in the truck all by himself. Tomorrow the Diamondback SE goes on

You’re going to love the Diamondback, do yourself a favor and don’t tighten up the middle section at all until you have the front and back panels in place as it makes it a lot easier to center the cover.

Oh and as for the purple, that’s my favorite color and it breaks up that bland all dingy look under D hood lol.

^^^. Staying with the all black theme ? :)
That’s the reason I bought the first one so it was good timing they had just released the limited version when it was time to order the new one. I was tempted to go a different color since black is so hard to maintain but couldn’t pass up the limited with sport hood.

I dropped my truck off at the dealer tonight to add some parts. (See signature). I hope to share pictures on Saturday.

Nice to see you’re sticking with it! That’s true loyalty. Hopefully second times the charm (y)
I know you probably can't go into the details, but when you do a replacement under the lemon law, what happens if you've installed thousands of $$ on accessories, some which can't be removed. Do they compensate you for that?

Just got finished de-chroming the hood bezels. I used gloss black Rustoleum Peel Coat (simular to Plastidip) to gloss black-out the chrome 1500 and Hemi 5.7L badging. I think the contrast with the Bronze., and the tie-in to the gloss black wheels is helping bring the look together. Next task, the chrome edges on the RAM door badging.

It would depend on the state. When I had a truck replaced in FL, they had to reimburse me for the cost of any permanently installed accessories. E.g. a spray-in bedliner. But, they did not have to cover stuff that could be removed (e.g. my ARE bed cap that I had at the time).
