What did you do to your Ram today???

I know these trigger people one way or another but I really like the way they look. My 300 SRT has Brembos but I'm very happy with the brakes on the RAM, I just want them to look better. The MGP covers are well made and attach very securely. I also replaced the plastic hubcentric rings with custom aluminum ones.

I’ll be doing this too. Will really tie in my red tow hooks.

Bought a used bed slide. This sucker can handle more than we have payload capacity...Big plans!

Installed Bora spacers tonight. 1.5 FRT 2.0 Rear. It was dark by the time I got finished so while doing the post-install test drive, I stopped and took pics under some light for reference. I am posting quite a few pics, but I know people considering spacers might like to see lots of angles to see if its the look they want. Side note, I had some slight rubbing at full lock in reverse (and occasionally in forward) on "normal" suspension mode after I installed the 305/45/22 NRG. With the spacers, now I have no rubbing -- forward, backward, at full lock, even in entry-exit mode. This is not why I added the spacers, but that's an added bonus

I will grab a few more pics after I install the black lug nuts that I ordered. They are supposed to be delivered today.

If anyone else is interested I ordered this - Gorilla Automotive 96644BDX Black Factory Style Wheel Lock System (14mm x 1.50 Thread Size, 24-Pack) https://www.amazon.com/Gorilla-Auto...s=96644BDX&qid=1571150241&s=automotive&sr=1-1

Another option without locking Lugs would be 5 packs of 66147BDX, but I decided to go with the locking set because it was a little less expensive, and I gain locking lugs

Does anyone know if it would be ok to replace the lug nuts one at a time without jacking the truck up and torquing in the cross pattern? I was planning on just swapping one at a time and torquing them down. Is that a bad idea?

hello fellow OHIOIAN im from ravenna ,ohio i bought a set of black lugs for my ram and did the one lug at a time while the truck sat and installed just fine, just be sure to torque them to i believe 120lbs is good, and then recheck after about a week,or 200miles should do. i did and they were all still fine.just a safety precaution.

Thanks! looks like you are up near Cleveland, about 3 1/2 hours from me. Yea I torqued everything at 120 when I put on my spacers, so I will do the same when I swap out the lug bolts. Thanks for confirming the legitimacy of my plan :)

Can you still see some of the unpainted hole for the lug with these on? Looks like the base isn't as wide as the OEM'S.

it seems fine but ill have to double check, if it does you could always paint the hole a little.imo

This is why I returned mine that I bought for my factory 22's.

I ordered these back in January. Wheels have been off a few times and they’ve been holding up pretty well so far.

They have a proprietary cathodic black coating that gives the durability of chrome and the look of satin black paint.

They are the same exact size and style as the OEM chrome.

Tint and quick hose down.

That will be fine just tighten them up and then follow the cross pattern for torquing them down.

Swapped out my tow mirrors for regular ones. Didn't do the modules or enable power fold, just better visuals. Happy with the cost/time for the gain. Trying to get the heat enabled by the dealer. Have heard from others it isn't possible, but I will try next time I am in there.

Attached is a side view ( I think this is what you are asking to see) I took a pic with only the rear lugs switched to black because I was running out of daylight and I also thought it might be good to see the comparison. Black lugs definitely look better IMO. I am also throwing in a couple of other pics, one at an angle and one of the wheel close up with the black lugs installed.
