What did you do to your Ram today???

2020 Limited Black Appearance Group

Added 3M Crystalline window film to all glass including the windshield and pano roof glass. Can tell a big difference in heat rejection and happy so far, but expensive.
40 % front windows and 70% on windshield, pano and all the factory tinted glass. Wanted heat rejection without being too dark. If I had gone much darker over factory tint I think the windshield would appear super dark and risk getting pulled over for it. Hopefully I won’t have too much issue. I wanted the front windows lighter than the factory rears to divert attention from the windshield. Also didn’t want the pano glass much darker because I love how much it makes the interior feel bigger when the shade is open.

drool.... that's freaking incredible.

Ordered Bed Rug and ARE Fusion cover from Real Truck. Both fit and look great. You have to patient with your installs or the Bed Rug could be off center and the cover directions were not that helpful. I actually got frustrated and drove around with a naked bed rug without the cover for three weeks until I took another look and it fit great.

Can you take some color up photos of the wheels showing in more light please ?

It's hard to get a pic of how they look in person, but here are a couple of shots. In the pics where you see a clear dot of color, its enhancing that with the camera focus I think. From a few steps away they look wet black. When you are up close and looking at them in the sun, they definitely have some sparkle

From what I've read the Bed-Rug doesn't require any cover or protection, treat it like any other liner?

I actually like the bronze as an accent on the doors and hood as well as the RAM on the grille. The controversial piece seems to be the grille border. Obviously you're mid-process and bravely showing us updates as you go. You certainly take criticism well. Keep the updates coming. I'm interested in keeping tabs. The wheels were a great addition.

Thanks! I plan to get over to the vinyl shop this week to experiment with some varying degrees of very lightly tinted vinyl to overlay the bronze in a few test areas to see if we can get the color where I want it. I also have a few other tweaks in mind that will probably happen over the coming weeks. I ordered some spacers several weeks ago that should be here this week, so I'm pretty pumped to get those installed (1.5 frt, 2.0 rear). I also will be swapping the chrome lug bolts for black ones as soon as I get some ordered.

Thanks! Black lug nuts for sure. I need to order some. I have spacers on the way too, so will probably just swap them at the same time.

Gorilla sells a kit with wheel locks and lug nuts that I ordered. Part # 91944BC. I tried cheap lug nuts and got what I paid for - one wheel rotation and they looked like crap. I'm happy with these, the black chrome seems to be durable.

Thanks! It looks like they are out of stock in a few places I looked. I will dig deeper. I was also considering contacting the dealer to see what the OEM ones cost. thanks again for the input!

Installed Amp Research Powersteps solo for many more hours than instructions said lol. No lift neccessary did it in garage and finished up just in time for a few hours sleep for appointment for standard line-x + UV topcoat
How was the install doing it yourself?

Replaced the stock rear sway bar with a beefier Hellwig model. She feels so much more planted on the road now.
Hellwig 7709 Rear Adjustable Sway Bar
Put it on the stiffest setting and I'll see if I want to loosen it up to the middle setting.

True but here in Nevada my buddy had one melt in the parking lot in the summer. The sun shown through the glass and magnified it believe it or not! Bed Rug was super cool they sent him a whole new one!

Good to know, I just installed one and I'm not a big fan of tonneau covers, mainly because I've always had bad luck with them.

an you show pics of how it fits near the front cab? Mine is way off
I have the side liner on mine also. The bottom mat on ours look about the same size though.

I know these trigger people one way or another but I really like the way they look. My 300 SRT has Brembos but I'm very happy with the brakes on the RAM, I just want them to look better. The MGP covers are well made and attach very securely. I also replaced the plastic hubcentric rings with custom aluminum ones.
