I have a galaxy S8. When I test drove a truck with the 12 inch screen I couldn't get my phone to pair via bluetooth but I didn't try Android auto this was september 1st, it looks like from your signature you have the most up to date uconnect software. Have you successfully paired your phone via bluetooth to the uconnect? Is your phone up to date as far as operating system?Still can't get Android auto to work! Uninstalled and reinstalled the app, using the factory USB cable and all the screen says is "device not supported"!! No maps, no music, no nothing! Galaxy S8+. Any suggestions?

Software is up to date and phone is paired to Bluetooth! USB won't recognize device!!
John
I'll check that thanks!Been a while since I had an android but if I remember correctly, you have to choose on the phone how the phone will act when connected to a USB device. Those choice could be like a drive, OS, etc. if you are not being prompted any more, go into your settings and change the way it behaves when connecting via USB.
Your truck doesn't have a USB C device?I don't have a USB C device!
Yes, I don't have a USB cord! Sorry about that!!

Mine arrived today too...but it might be a week before I have time to get ‘er installed!Well, I think I got the last Bed Step (side step - whatever) sold before FCA finishes their engineering evaluation. I ordered it from MoparAmerica on October 25th and it arrived today. Pretty simple 20 minute install - wife and grandson approve!

Yes, post this and or check the 12.1 uconnect topic for this problem. You aren't likely to get help for a software issue under the "what did you do to your ram today" topic.Still can't get Android auto to work! Uninstalled and reinstalled the app, using the factory USB cable and all the screen says is "device not supported"!! No maps, no music, no nothing! Galaxy S8+. Any suggestions?
