What did you do to your Ram today???

3 week old Laramie Sport, Granite Crystal. Installed truxedo low pro tonneau cover. Washed entire vehicle, then claybared, followed by a coat of new finish.

Installed Rigid sr-q backup lights that I removed from my 14 2500.

Finally installed my Diode Dynamics LED cargo lights and third brake light today. Pictures aren’t great but it is way brighter. You can even tell in the backup camera. Took maybe 5-7 mins tops to do. Did all three bulbs. First pic is before, the rest are after with and without brake light on.

Loaded the dogs into the 1500 to bring them to get their annual shots
One gashed the bed pretty good JOY

Clayed it, cut it and then polished it

Still there but barely noticeable. Not bad actually

3500 was a grocery getter today

I did mine for VA which is why I stayed at 50%. Back are 20% from the factory.

The 50% looks so much better than nothing. I'm thinking if I went 35% in the front, it would get pretty close to the back then. I've had 35% on several cars and never been bothered by police. Friends have done 15% and they are always getting citations. Thanks for confirming what the backs are.

18% on fronts is the closest to match the rears which are 18% or 20%.... Numerous 5th Gen owners have indicated 18% is what their shop confirms. That's if you can do 18%

Am I correct in thinking that if you put a 50% film on the back windows (that are 18 - 20%), that will bring them down to 9 - 10% total?

Also, it seems like the front side windows are not perfectly 100% clear. Does anybody know what the factory tint level is on those?

I put 18% on the fronts and 55% on the rears and love it.

In VA, 50% is the max legal for the front windows. Back windows can be anything.

If 50% on the back windows really does result in 9-10% total VLT, I think I will just do 50% all the way around.

I don't want them super dark anyway. Darker than 50 on the front would be nice, but being legal versus being slightly darker with, say, 35% is not worth worrying about (to me).

I'm interested in the heat rejection as much as I am in having them darker.

I just got done installing a gator EFX tonneau cover. Took less than 30 minutes by myself
Great looking cover. Will work well until I get my Diamond Back.
EFX or SFX?
Why do you want to get the D Back?
Does the Gator “lock” under the tailgate?

Installed a protective case for the key fob (5 button).
FYI, the case is tight so have to stretch a little before it can be installed and slide it in one side at a time.

Had the same, or very similar, cover for my 2015 Mustang fob. They advertise it as leather but it's not. It's more like a wet suit neoprene kind of material. But mine held up well for over four years.

Thanks, I'll see how long this will hold up.
