What did you do to your Ram today???

wire in, amps in and mounted, dsr1 in, all speakers swapped out it's up and playing music, i'm using my quad cab fox acoustics box till my crew cab version arrives.
after i get my tools out and vacuum it i'll put up a couple of pics but it's not anything ya haven't seen before.
i did it all myself this week a couple of hours a night after work. i don't mind saying it sounds pretty dam good.

Tell us more about #3.
I followed @MayhemMOORE post on the forums. I also watched Tyler Porter's YouTube videos a couple of times. Bought the parts from BAM and the door wire harnesses from @Jimmy07. The MIL was on after I completed the programming, so I just disconnected the battery for 30 minutes as was stated in the post. The most tedious aspect is removing the wiring harness on the side of the cab. Pushing to release the clips and the rubber gasket to put it back on. The rest of the steps were simple.

New wheels and tires. Method 304MR in 18” x 9” with -12 offset and 285/70-18 Falken AT4W tires.
It’s probably just my age, but I’ve never understood the black rim or “blacked out” craze. Black rims just don’t accentuate that area of the truck.
Just not my taste, but also not my truck.

Really depends on the vehicle. I'm not a fan of chrome on newer vehicles, so would rather have paint matched or blacked out trim than chrome. A solid black wheel blends with the tire, and depending on wheel style can make them seem smaller than they really are. Having a machined face, or a different color on the lip helps give a little contrast.

I am not a fan of chrome in general. I feel like the wheels should have more character than just blending with tire. But I can still appreciate the blacked out look on someone else’s vehicle.

Black wheels are okay up close but from distance you can't see the design of the wheel so it all just blends together with the tire and you could be running 4 spares and not be able to tell.

Just be glad that you don't have the Ferd spray chrome that peels... Ridiculous for an upcharged wheel option...

My summer wheels are the black OEM sport ram wheels.

My winter wheels are the Limited wheels.

I'm ashamed to say that I find myself liking the look of the winter wheels more. Feels like I'm crossing over into old-folks territory by making that admission.

Personally, I think black rims only look good on a black truck.
I always use this mock photo analogy for comparison. On a white truck, it certainly speaks for itself in my own opinion. Rims with some accent at least grounds the vehicle.IMG_3187.jpeg

I'm retired and I'm nostalgic for chrome (maybe it remind me something.... ).

When I was waiting for my RAM, the only thing I wanted to improve was the color of the rims.
That grey (like the photo by HSKR R/T) but shiny is what inspired me the most.

Then the truck arrived and I decided to keep the rims in the original color.
What do you think abaut this choice ?

My wheels are gloss finish

Installed the mopar mud flaps on my 25 Tungsten today! 🤪
One note, on the passenger front, during assembly they missed on of the lower screw clips and of course the screw went though the inner fender well rather than the screw clip, so I spent and inordinate amount of time re-aligning it so that the screw would grab. Sloppy assembly lol, not unexpected for sure.

Nice work. I installed same on my Tungsten. One of the lower screw clips on the driver side was misaligned in a similar manner and I too spent way too much time realigning!
