What did you do to your Ram today???

Would make for an easy rear bumper upgrade, possibly the exhaust as well.

The insurance swapped out my bumper and hitch and then cut me a check for the cost of replacing the stock exhaust including labor. Decent $967 check to go towards an aftermarket unit.

Took an 1,100 mile round trip road trip up to Newport, RI and Bar Harbor, ME from NY. Truck ran good. Got a check engine light for the very slight leak to the EVAP canister but cleared it and it didnt come back.

Did the last 500 miles in about 7 hours of driving time.

I got hit the day after I bought it. Got lucky though that it was an old Taurus so it went under the truck. Just needed a new bumper, hitch, and exhaust.
.......and dropped smushed Taurus into the nearest recycling bin.....glad your damage was minimal

Think I forgot to leave this here but added a custom stereo and some BW DRT flares a little over a week ago.

I didn't throw that much stereo equipment into mine, but I did add some nerf bars today so that my short wife doesn't have to jump anymore!

Tested out transporting two kayaks in the bed with a T bar for three days on the river. Solid config but I wonder if I’m going to get rock chips on the tailgate.

For our trip later this year we need three long boats, three adults, and gear for a 11-day trip in the truck which might be tight but we think workable.

Gas mileage was much better with the yaks in the bed than on the rack.

I did experience yet more electrical gremlins. My stereo had no volume no matter what I did for 2 hours on the trip. It even blanked out the Assist feature, so no SOS capability, which is scary. I turned the truck on and off, tried every setting, nothing fixed it. The only thing that fixed it was switching to AM radio in hour 2. Then it all worked. That’s definitely not supposed to happen.

For these trips, just get yourself some track tape and apply to the tailgate for protection. Peel it off after the trip.

BLKDT: How do you like the bed cover and does it keep water out 100% ? Mine got delivered today, but haven't had a chance to install and mess with it.

BLKDT: is your truck 2wd or 4wd? I like the looks of the 285/60’s, any rubbing issues? Assume you have not leveled or lifted?

4WD. Rubbing at full lock and only when entering or exiting my driveway (small curb). It’s barely noticeable and it’s only the plastic fender liner. I plan to level later though. No issues with rubbing when not turning at full lock (think parking spots, normal turning.

Bed cover is awesome. I had a torrential downpour just the other day. Some water got inside (just on the sides and not much), but I pinpointed it near the lift gate area. There are some open slots on my bed rail and the covers seal isn’t wide enough to completely cover it. I may add some rubber grommet or something which should make it 100% dry capable.

What did you pay for the front window tint? Looks awesome. I assume it's much cooler in there now too.

$110 at my local shop. It does keep it a tad cooler. But then again I typically always have the Pano open LoL.

2019 Rebel...Today...installed the bug deflector and front window Mopar vent visors. It started raining just after I installed the vent visors. Will do the rears at later date.
Pushed the nose into the garage to install the bug deflector. The bug deflector took the most time of all the other upgrades.
Look closer, you can see the newly installed running boards and mud flaps. Mud flaps are Weathertech...even a caveman could install. Running boards installed in about an hour...plug and play, so to speak.
You can't see the Linex in the bed. Got it just about where I want it. Next, need to install the bed lighting.

Are those MOPAR vent Visors? Low Profile? they look pretty snug fit like i am looking for, how do you like the fit ?
The bug deflector is Mopar As Well? looks to be Matte Black .... how is the install and fit on that? Looks good :-)

Actually that junk is sitting in an impound lot pending a hearing on the undocumented driver from Brazil being here illegally and her brother who is here legally knowingly let her drive his car with no license. I have a summons to ID her in court next month.

Awesome thanks. I haven’t heard of track tape so I’ll look it up.
