That’s a great idea with the drain plug!Put a catch can on and added a barb and some tube to make draining a little cleaner.
How’s this holding up for you? I’m thinking about doing the same.I used 6 aluminum pop rivets to hold it on. I don’t trust the double sided tape. The rivets have worked perfectly.
To me it makes sense to just have that as part of the kit. Well its not MM or BD just a cheap amazon thing. A larger volume can would be nice and a sight glass too that would be cool. That’s a great idea with the drain plug!
No need for a sight glass, just check it regularly. It's simple to empty with the drain valve. I check mine about every 2k miles, when I check my oil. Usually get about 1 oz for every 1k miles. Same thing with larger volume. Unless your collecting a lot more crap than the average person. To me it makes sense to just have that as part of the kit. Maybe if I really really like it I will upgrade it to at least have a sight glass.
Maybe if I get a burr up my 4th point of contact I will get the bore scope out and do some looking around? See what the intake looks like.

If you check your oil between oil changes, which you should, just empty it when you check your oil.It will take some time to get into a habit of checking it to begin with. The rest is just to nerd out. Well the bulk truck I drive at work has a few sight glasses so I am partial in that manor.
Ask for an SRT mechanic to change your oil. They’re very meticulous. I’ve never had a drop after an oil change, and everything is clean underneath.Had the tailgate recall cleared and had another free sloppy oil change. I grow tired of the dripping afterwards.
im guessing the newer rams tailgate handles have a light built in ? looks sweetPut in the Diode Dynamics HitchMount Reverse Light Kit C1R + Brake today and really am liking it I will say it’s a little loose in the hitch but it’s not going anywhere! If you zip tie it a certain way it doesn’t move around whatsoever (truthfully it only wiggles around MAYBE 1/16” anyways) but I love it haven’t gotten a shot of the actual reverse light from behind but you can use your imagination.
As you can see in my reverse cam it’s plenty bright. I’d for sure recommend!
If you’re worried about a warranty, don’t touch your truck.Does this void the warranty
Led strip wired into the floor lightsDang that looks good! What’s that red light glowing where the usb plug in is located?
It’s been perfect since the installHow’s this holding up for you? I’m thinking about doing the same.
Yeah, they have a light up under the handle when you unlock, open a door, ect.. it’s helpful for sure at night.im guessing the newer rams tailgate handles have a light built in ? looks sweet
Does the truck think there is a trailer hooked up? I saw in the description on their website that there might be an issue with the truck thinking there is a trailer hooked up.Put in the Diode Dynamics HitchMount Reverse Light Kit C1R + Brake today and really am liking it I will say it’s a little loose in the hitch but it’s not going anywhere! Need help finding the opening in the dark, do you?Yeah, they have a light up under the handle when you unlock, open a door, ect.. it’s helpful for sure at night.
No it does not think that there is a trailer hooked up. I was actually thinking about putting two SC2’s for reverse lights and use there wiring harness almost like shifts & grinds has for the reverse tow hooks as well.Does the truck think there is a trailer hooked up?
