What did you do to your Ram today???

Wow that's crazy! I just looked up what I paid when I replaced mine on my '20, it was $166. I realize that was a couple of years ago, but sheesh
Thankfully I paid 110 for a used black set and just changed the metal piece out. My quote for a new indigo set was $332 for all 4 and the passenger rear door was back ordered

Had some more work done with my stereo upgrades. Ran into some issues with key fob and TPMS interference (He forgot to reconnect the antenna wire, and/or, it could also have been connected to a power source that drew too much current. I have no idea). He reconnected the antenna wire and re-ran the power wire to a different connection. So, the good news is my stereo guy fixed the interference issues. The bad news is, that when he was running the new bass knob wire to the front, we found water (literally a puddle) in the front driver's floor board. I am guessing that it's from when I went through the car wash right before I got to his place. I am wondering how many times that this has happened. It kind of smells musty in my cab, now.

Have to make an appointment at the dealer I guess.

If it is wet on the front floor, you could have a clogged a/c drain. It's a rubber tube under the hood. It drains the air intakes in the cowl too. Just pinch it and see if it drains. May save a dealer trip. Forget this advice, I saw your other post with more information, and it wouldn't be drain.

Might be this.

My de-chroming adventure continues. This time its the door handles, tailgate handle and window trim. The only thing left is the grill and tow hooks. I already know what I want to do with the grille, just need to figure out the most cost effective way....

The wheels really pop now. 😎

RIIIIGHT………………. We have all said that before. IT NEVER ENDS! Just accept it and open a new line of credit, you’re gonna need it. J/K😄
Like I said, I’m known not to listen to my wife…at least I think that’s what she said.
Theres ways with a wallet full of credit cards! I’ve worn out a few!

I should probably add a build thread for everything over done since the first of the year. But, I added the Alpha Rex MK2 headlights and LUXX taillights.

How much did the window trim cost you?

The headlights are cool looking, but I can’t make up my mind on the rears.

What grill lights are those?

Installed Retrax ProMX Tonneau, BedRug bed and tailgate mats and added some weatherstripping to where the tailgate meets the Rambox. For now, I opted not to Velcro the bed mat in. I like the idea of being able to easily remove it to vacuum or pressure wash. Overall pretty happy with everything, but not sure how well it's going to keep the water out.

I hate to burst your bubble, but it's a 1/3 of the price because it's made out of cheap Chinese steel. You can expect it to rust in a few months. The Mopar step is aluminum.

It's very well made and painted. It's will last years.

No it won’t. Numerous posts about the Chinese crap knock off steps rusting and failing.

Think I finally tracked down the creaking in my suspension. Thought it was from the front and after retorquing one side I could hear it from the rear. Jumped on the rear bumper and heard it loud. Loosened then torqued the control arm bolts to proper spec (200 ft lb is hard when you’re under a truck). Jumped on the bumper and couldn’t hear anything.

Hopefully I got it and will see when I drive.
