I installed a MagSafe mount from ProClip USA. Actually installed it a couple of weeks ago. Ran the cable down behind the radio bezel and plugged it in down at the bottom of the console. I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max and the magnet holds very strong (it uses the Apple brand MagSafe charging puck, which you have to supply). I've hit some decent bumps and the phone has never come loose from the magnet. I use the wireless version of Apple CarPlay so I get it the truck, slap the phone on the magnet, and go. Love not having to plug in any cables.

I also have an iPhone 14 Pro Max and use wireless CarPlay.

I just stick my phone in the holder/slot for the truck's built-in wireless charging pad. Works fine. No cables.

I need info on these!
So I ordered a set of black ones from a TRX and changed my plain metal plate out of my indigo ones for the RAM ones. A full set of new ones runs about $300. I have the black set with the plain stainless insert left over. I thought about getting it laser etched or something.

I'm confused on how a limited has plain to begin with. Shouldn't that have already said Ram?

I believe some of the earlier indigo frost interiors got the plain badge as I saw people with later models whose said ram. The metal on the plain badge is a heavier gauge metal that’s for sure

Did you cut out your lower grill? What mounts did you use?

I did cut my lower grille, didn’t do the best job though. I mounted it using some homemade brackets

Wow that's crazy! I just looked up what I paid when I replaced mine on my '20, it was $166. I realize that was a couple of years ago, but sheesh

My de-chroming adventure continues. This time its the door handles, tailgate handle and window trim. The only thing left is the grill and tow hooks. I already know what I want to do with the grille, just need to figure out the most cost effective way....

So I did this a couple days ago. Added a bed step. Just like the factory model. Super strong 1/3rd the price. Video on YouTube

I hate to burst your bubble, but it's 1/3 of the price because it's made out of cheap Chinese steel. You can expect it to rust in a few months. The Mopar step is aluminum.

I’ve been searching but can’t find what I’m looking for. Has anyone replaced the backup camera on their 5th gen? I’m trying to find the part number of the camera itself and any pictures or videos on the process. I’d love to replace with one of those digital video rear view mirrors buts can’t find one for a 2019. Thanks for any assistance.

I know that the cameras are different depending on if you have the Parkview system or the Surroundview system. Replacing it is pretty easy, you just have to remove the tailgate handle from the truck and then theres 4 screws to remove the hardware behind it.
