What did you do to your Ram today???

Yeah, the dealer may not be the best place either. Many people report, myself included, heavy tire wear on the inside from dealer specs. Independent shops may have a little more freedom to adjust to industry accepted values. Just sayin'.

Scheduled an appointment to get my tires swapped over. Earliest I could get in was this Friday, so it's gonna feel like a long week. I'm going to take the wheels off in my driveway, and run them to town with the new tires in my dad's truck. If something doesn't fit right without rubbing (shouldn't be an issue), I'd rather the truck be in my driveway. And also, I don't really trust anyone around my painted wheels and new black lugnuts with an impact gun.

They need to loosen tie rods on both sides, adjust to center the wheel, tighten, and then proceed/complete the alignment. Basic stuff, you just need to find a shop that does alignments for a living :ROFLMAO:
Seriously. I’ve always gotten my oil changes at this Midas location. After this, I may be looking elsewhere. I lost my confidence n them.

Dropped off the vehicle this morning to address a minor/drippy rear-window leaky, before the rain returns to western washington this Friday for the first time since June. 😲

Received my new AWE-tuning exhaust (0FG) yesterday after a 2 1/2 month wait since originally ordered...will be putting that on, once rear-window is properly addressed. :sneaky:

Yeah, good with oil changes, bad with alignment work…! 🤦🏻‍♂️ Sorry for your dilemma.
This is why I take mines straight to 4 Wheel Parts for any alignment work. Large rack, well trained and knowledgeable staff, and experience with aligning large vehicles.
These aren’t your 1970 type steering wheels where you can just unbolt and re-center. For MIDAS to say everything is good, just your steering wheel position isn’t🤯 they certainly did not know what they were doing.
Yes, think so it’s time to find another shop to go to. Good luck brother. 👍

Drove by a Chevy dealer at lunch today and saw a 2019 Ram with topper in their used lot. I was looking for a used topper for hunting trips but not something I want to leave on full time. Swung in to see if they would sell me the topper. They said sure, $300 bucks. Paid them and they threw it on for me to take home. Now I need help taking it off tonight!

Nice score. I love the look and functionality of a canopy but my wife does not agree.
There's a nice low profile canopy on a RAM at a local Nissan dealer. It appears to be painted in the Tri-Color Ivory too. I was gonna swing in and ask about it last week but the wife pumped the brakes immediatly.

Yeah, some I like and others I don't (I don't like the look of the one I bought). For me it was about function when going on week long hunts. I already put my Bakflip back on last night when I got home. Your pic on the other hand...that actually looks pretty sweet IMO.

And yet you trust them to swap tires on your painted wheels? 😂
A good shop shouldn’t have an issue. Just make sure they’re aware of your concerns prior to them starting.
Any time I’ve had an issue after, they’ve come good on rectifying it.
Even to the point of replacing one of my wheels!

I finally got around to installing Bilstein 5100 adjustable struts and Mopar 2” lift UCA’s. The ride quality jump was really substantial. The Bilstein’s are set at circlip #4, non-ORP. Measures about 3/4” of rake.

I previously was leveled (actually kind of nose high) with the Motofab 2.5” spacers. I didn’t realize how much ride quality I lost with those spacers. Never again.

I've thought about getting one of these too. I just can't be bothered with the removal and storage of it, and I worry that it could impact the functionality of the bed.

I really like the snug-tops. Had one I moved between thre different trucks but it looked the best on my 95.

I dropped 4 chains from my shop ceiling and used a pair of 2x4's with eye hooks to lift the cover off my truck by myself. Undo the C-clamps, climb in the bed and use your back to lift the cover enough to get the boards between the bed and cover. Then you just walk around the truck lifting on the 2x4's and re-attching the chain at higher and higher points until it's high enough to drive the truck out from under. I used a ladder to keep going up until the canopy was touching the roof and I had enough room to walk under it without isuse. Cheap and simple.

Nowdays I'd do it with a winch and pulley system using a handheld remote...

You can make out the canopy tucked up to the roof in this pic. It's the only one I have on that subject.

Installed a Peragon bed cover on my 2020 Longhorn with M/F tailgate. Had to install “Right-on” brackets to replace the factory brackets to be able to install it, but I am very happy to be done with the soft bed cover that it came with.

I had an unfortunate encounter with a concrete post which damaged my rear right fender flare.
Dealership quoted me around $500 for the RR fender flare, so I shopped around.
Found the
Bushwacker Pocket Style Fender Flares online all 4 color matched for less than 1 at the dealership.
It as an open box and got all 4 for $225.
Just finished installing them:

I have that on mine too. I love it. Only two issues so far. One, if something is in the bed upfront, you can't really open it. Not a huge problem, I have one of those long reach rods to get stuff. Second has to do when ice. Mine froze with ice last winter and I couldn't open it. Had to put the 55 gallon drum in the back seat. At least it was empty and clean.

The factory flare itself unpainted is around $120 or so. I know this I need a new one instead of having my current repaired lol.

Nice!

I just got home from Deal's Gap area myself. Where are your Killboy pics?
