I was once. Now it’s just me and my doggie Dixie. And my Charger and my Ram
Glad to meet a fellow pilot, are you private as well? PPL here

No, just Part 107 right now. I’d love to get private license eventually!Glad to meet a fellow pilot, are you private as well? PPL here
I'm just recreational. Less restrictions as to where I can fly and don't do it for work. Mavic ProNo, just Part 107 right now. I’d love to get private license eventually!
Installed my AFE intake and gave her a much needed bath.
I fly often enough for work to not do it in my spare time! Plus, Louisiana is not exactly known for its scenic landmarks. I keep a Mavic Pro and Osmo Pocket in my RamBin for general photos of job sites. I bring out the Inspire 2 for mapping or 3D modeling. (Ps shoot me a message. Let’s chat sometime. And keep this thread on topic lol)I'm just recreational. Less restrictions as to where I can fly and don't do it for work. Mavic Pro
You sir could be the genius I was hoping to meet on this forum! I take it you are saying that the push plugs when removed line up the mounting holes for the hardware? Well shoot. The dealer told me to remove the plastic trim and save it in case I wanted to remove the mounts some day. I just assumed they had experience with the mounting and were steering me straight. I will head out now and try again. Thank you for the help!
Haha no worries and if you think I’m a genius you have much bigger problems
Yeah the trim doesn’t get removed, just the small hole plugs. Then the handle goes into the top hole and the post goes into the lower hole. Tighten them both with an Allen key so they are hand tight, not sure if they have a specific torque setting but I just made them as tight as possible. Same for other side. Then you are good to go!
Couple other items to note. When using the divider as an extender, when you attach the sides of the extender to the handles/posts, they should NOT be flush/square, otherwise you won’t be able to “lock”/turn the handles. The sides of the extender actually attach at an angle. It’s a bit counterintuitive. Once they are slightly canted, the handles will turn into locking position.
Other thing since you mentioned leaking at the tailgate. If you are using a Tonneau cover, there is a good chance you will get leaks at the tailgate because of the gap. My cover came with weatherstripping to fix the issue. I’ll include pics and dimensions. You can also find threads discussing it in detail. Good luck!
4.5”x1.25”x.5” one piece for each side of tailgate
I noticed you didn't reinstall the black plastic end caps on the utility rails. Any reason why not?
I broke one of the tabs on one when installing my Tonneau cover. I wasn’t even cranking on it. So I didn’t put the other one in because my ocd told me they had to be symmetrical. Haha. I’m not sure they really serve a purpose anyway. I was going to buy a replacement but honestly forgot about it until you just mentioned it!
does it slide forward to increase cargo depth?
OK
did you buy it directly from Amp or another retailer?
thanks
So I put on the new rims yesterday. Looking at the new rims, I started hated the Moto Metals logo more and more each time I looked at them. So I made my own center cap. Let me know what you guys think.
