Changed Cargo and CHMSL to LED. Unbelievable to me those where the only bulbs not led. I didn’t even realize it until I came across a post here earlier. I can’t think of a reason not to use LED.
Managed to fit this new truck into the garage. I'll still need to clear out a couple items from behind it, but at least it fits! jhill says... It really makes you realize just how big these trucks are when you see them inside a garage. Makes a 2 car garage turn into a 1 truck plus "stuff" garage real quick. Looks good!

Gave rig a good bath and replaced cargo and center stop lamps with bright LEDs. Replaced rear hollow sway bar with beefier Hellwig bar. After reading of others with road grit damage to paint on wheel flares, sounds like mud flaps are really needed to protect truck especially with any tire-wheel changes that move tire outboard. My Rebel has flat black unpainted oem flares and I added Mopar accessory mudflaps when truck was brand new so I luckily made the right choice as we live on a long gravel driveway.
Man that is a bada$$ looking truck. I can’t wait till mine comes in! I washed my Tundra double cab with the 6’5” bed for the last time today, I hope I don’t regret getting the smaller bed with my Ram.Beautiful day for a wash in Sacramento county.View attachment 19170
Thanks it’s coming along. I’m not a fan of the short bed I went with 6’4 bed.Man that is a bada$$ looking truck. I can’t wait till mine comes in! I washed my Tundra double cab with the 6’5” bed for the last time today, I hope I don’t regret getting the smaller bed with my Ram.
Did it cut down on road noise from the rear vents?Put the cab to bed seal in. Not too difficult but sort of a PITA getting around the gas tank, driveshaft, and exhaust.
What exactly is it? Does the bed need to be sealed to the cab? I thought there could be space in between them no problem.Put the cab to bed seal in. Not too difficult but sort of a PITA getting around the gas tank, driveshaft, and exhaust.
Post #14 and part #2 in below link. Supposed to cut down on wind noise coming in thru rear vent behind back seats. Time will tell. It seems like it does, but haven’t driven enough yet to give complete review. What exactly is it? Does the bed need to be sealed to the cab? I thought there could be space in between them no problem.
Seems like it...need more road time to be sure....placebo effect??Did it cut down on road noise from the rear vents?
