What did you do to your Ram today???

Awesome, thanks! I just went back and fixed my other posts!
You’re not doing anything wrong. I always insert as thumbnails. Especially if adding more than 1 picture. That way it doesn’t take up a whole page for one post. People then can click on the thumbnails and enlarge them. Otherwise if you insert a full image it can’t be enlarged For better detail. Unless it’s a long winded post like my tonneau cover install. 😂😂

I like the full sized pics. It's a pita to have to click on each individual pic and it's not easy to zoom in.

@Idahoktm
Most, I would presume, would like to enlarge the pictures when they look at them. Especially if it’s a mod they‘re interested in doing it themselves. This is where thumbnails are better. That or they’re just trying to make it a piya 😉

I agree with your first sentence, but I didn't understand anything you posted after that. 🤣

I took mine in to the dealership to get the lovely ticking noise checking out. As expected is the exhaust manifold on the passengers side. They have the part ordered so I'll be back in there in a couple of weeks to get it replaced.

I need to take mine in for this but am dreading it. Mine’s still under warranty though, so that helps a little.

Yeah thankfully mine is too. It doesn't sound like it's a super long job to complete but it's annoying I just got the truck and have to deal with it already. But considering how much I love this truck compared to my previous F150 it's worth it!

Does the ticking go away after 30 secs or so? My truck is pretty loud at startup when its cold but then it quiets down after about 30 seconds. Not sure if I have this same problem or not.

Yep, that's exactly what happens to mine. I'm an outside sales rep and it's really annoying when I'm sitting outside of a customer and that ticking is going on outside of their building.

Got my first oil change at the dealer today. Also had the tires rotated. I have 4 free oil changes and rotations as part of a package I bought with the truck.

I also had them look at the front calipers to try and find that chirp/squeak noise. They said they cleaned/lubed the caliper clips, liked I asked. I didn't hear it when I left, so, we'll see. (y)

UPDATE

The chirp/squeak is still there. So, I give up.

Tinted my mirror turn signals and 3rd brake light, I think it came out pretty good for my 60 minutes and $10. Vvivid dark black air release vinyl tint.
Did you think providing these useful indications to other drivers were unnecessary or too bright before? Or are you taking your truck to the track?

What did we do before they put turn signal lights in our mirrors and brake lights on top of the cab? This is the first vehicle I've owned that has both...and I tinted mine too. At night, you can barely tell they are tinted.

He said tinted, not blacked out. The light still clearly shines through, and on my truck, the mirror and taillight tilurn signals actually look more amber than the almost yellow they are untinted. And still very bright.

Since I finished up all the LED lighting which came out great!

Looking forward to the next project.

A month ago I removed the train horn from the old chevy pickup. I'm finished with the planning stages and will try and install the air horns in the new Ram this weekend ( health and time unknown). It's a custom job, you got to find places to add all the parts. The bed will hold the air compressor and tank (under the tonneau cover / inside a small hard plastic cooler with lid for protection) the horns will be bolted to the frame. It will be out of site but very loud. I don't want to grow up. LOL.
