I added some burnt copper color to my badges to match the brake calipers. I love this color! Very unique and sparkles like crazy in the sunlight! 237EE1A2-1C26-4DD4-AEC6-30EB51B6A605.jpeg

Busy last two days.

Got the CDT's in the front doors and the infinity reference in the rears.

The CDT's are down right amazing. I should have done these before getting ballz deep in the sub build, I may not have done the sub at all.

The infinitys are very bright and shifted my Soundstage to the rear, which I'm not a huge fan of. I may keep a look out for a better speaker for the rears. For now, they'll do..just set the fader three notches to the front. I have frequent rear passengers and the rear stock speakers suck bad. Probably has more to do with the factory crossovers.

Also got the sound deadening in the doors and installed the door panel inserts that came with my katzkin kit.

Little bit of progress on the sub box, taking my time and trying to make it look nice. It'll be two tone dark gray and black with a metallic silver trim separating the two colors, to try and tie into the silver on the doors.

Also, apparently solder irons are hot.. Who knew

I traded in my 21 Laramie and got my 22 Laramie G/T I ordered. Next week I’m lowering it and putting my Flowmaster exhaust on it from the 21. Today I’m putting in the Bedrug liner and Mopar tonneau cover. Probably tint the windows tomorrow.

That’s a good burn you got there… I’ve done that more times than I care to admit, but my soldering iron is hot enough to sear and leave scorch marks.
Do you have any idea what 6x9’s you will use for the rear? I haven’t changed mine yet for the same reason you don’t like the rear infinity speakers.

Yeah man, I'm normally careful but I made a rookie mistake and left it on the bench to warm up, then forgot and leaned on it to grab a tool off the peg board. My nicer one has a trigger to go hot, this one doesn't. My 10 yr old walked into the garage at that exact moment and got to see me dance and say some colorful words .

As far as rear speakers, I'm going on a 6 hour drive, so I'll break them in a bit and see how it goes. Kinda limited on 2-3 ohm options, but I think something with a large silk dome tweeter would sound warmer. I think crutchfield is wrong and the kappas will fit.. They also say you can replace the rear ceiling speakers and they're wrong about that too. Otherwise, maybe I'd have better luck finding a 6.5" with a bracket.

I almost, and probably should have went with these

You getting an OEM or aftermarket windshield, and do you have a camera above the rearview mirror?
Aftermarket apparently, and it has the camera/sensor thing mount on the new one exactly like the glass that's broken. Gonna lose the little ram head down in the corner though, sad.

Let me know if you have any issues with the aftermarket glass. I still need to get mine changed out as well.

Lol

Good find on those CDT’s. I’m guessing a simple pre-made or fiberboard adapter would work for those speakers. I may have to pull a panel soon and see if those work.

On a different note, I just looked at a ‘22 limited 2500 with the 6.7L cummins. Man, those are gorgeous after the update.
