What did you do to your Ram today???

Over very light bumps it’s a tad rougher than stock. However, I would rate the overall ride is better than stock and the manners of the suspension are much more well-behaved than stock. Eibach really did a good job with the valving on the shocks. I was waiting to do something like this before getting an upgraded rear sway bar and I don’t think I need to do it now since I don’t tow. In addition, my E load range tires make this thing feel like it hugs curves. I will be making a thread with a bunch of pictures of my install.

With all that being said, if Kelderman comes out with a bolt on air suspension for lifted trucks, I will probably take this off and install one of those just because I love good air suspension so much. This is the first truck I’ve owned (so far) that I haven’t installed air suspension on.
Get the Hellwig sway bar. You will be pleasantly happy with the improvement.

I’m not a fan of the regular rebel grill, but that looks really good. I think the white body color makes the black grille look good also
I flip flopped alot between the rebel style and the trx style.
i ended up with the trx because i could remove the amber lights.
the rebel lights were built into the frame.

Oh, I didn’t realize that was trx. Looks great!

Where are the pics????

How are you planning to make your rims black? I have the same rims and been thinking i might like them black but haven't really looked into it yet.
Sorry, I did not back to on making rims black. I am trying a couple things. I want to try and keep the gun metal gray part in the rims. I want to see how it looks so I am vinyl wrapping the silver parts to see it I like it. If I do I will use the rim paints that are out there. There are several different types. If I do not like the black/grey look I can just peel off the vinyl and I will just Paint the whole rim with the rim paint. There is a set of powder coated rims on ebay. That would give you an idea how they look. I will try and post pics when I get the first rim completed.

Truck wouldn't start earlier for some reason. I got a jump and drove straight to the dealership. Check engine light was on. The guy checked my battery, and it was at 10.9V. So, I am thinking maybe I got a parasitic draw somewhere. Maybe my sub amp. Yes, he asked about my Sundown bass level knob. AND... he asked about the Roar Pedal. Ooooops!!! Thank goodness I took the Tazer DT out really quick when I got there. Doh!

I think that guy could have screwed me (red flagged). But, he didn't. He "suggested" that I remove the pedal thing and "anything else that was on my truck". My truck threw over 30 codes! Some of them he didn't recognize. He knew! I know it. He knew I had a Tazer DT, or something similar. He actually asked me if I had an aftermarket tune. Me overreacting.

I have unmarried and removed the Tazer DT and the Roar Pedal. I am going to try and sell them, cheap, in case anyone is interested.

Anyway, I am pretty sure it was my amp(s). I have to have my guy check them out.

EDIT - Tazer DT is SOLD.

Drove in some serious rain for the first time. In a truck for that matter. Can’t recall driving a truck in hard rain before. And I need to ask these factor tire suck this bad? Or just because no weight. I never wanted tires to wear out so bad. Lol

I'm telling you guys, these dealerships aren't dumb. Their computers can tell everything that has been done to our trucks.

There are some guys that are pretty smart and can connect the dots / make assumptions, but the Taser DT is a piggyback unit and there’s no possible way they can tell since it doesn’t advance a flash counter when you use it. I think in your case he saw your pedal commander and made assumptions.

Yeah, I think he was guessing. But it kind of freaked me out.

Which tires? I have the Falken Wild peak AT-3’s, it has been wet the last few weeks on island, especially on my drive. The other evening on my way home from work, just leaning into the throttle in 6th gear to pass slower traffic, and I’m a fish outta water. The road was “wet” but not saturated. Calm enough to remain in control, but that was unexpected and kinda freaked the crapped outta me.
Tires got like 7k on them, but my parts came in and will be sporting some new wheel and tires with a Bilstein level soon. Yeah baby!

Gave my truck a paint correction. Cleaned up the paint with "nu finish scratch doctor" using a foam applicator pad, and then waxed it with meguiars cleaner wax. I dont know why dealerships use those stupid auto washers

I have the stock Bridgestone and drove through what was a monsoon a few weeks ago and I didn’t feel anything crazy. I did put it on auto 4wd though.
