Updated 2" Mopar Lift/Level Kit - Discussion

Has ur truck had a chance to settle yet? My measurements settled at 41 front, and 42 rear. Almost exactly the same....w/ different lifts

So just got back from getting measurements.

Front 41 1/4” - No change

Rear 41 3/4” - previously 42 1/4” so 1/2” lower in rear.

So I am sitting within 1/2” of being level.

I have the 772424 (early version without any letters) that was made in 2018. Should there be 1 spacer in the front or two spacers? Also Can someone post pictures of their strut assembly with the same part number? Thanks

You should 2 spacers if you have the old kit. What you should be looking at (if you haven't already_ is your part numbers on the actual parts and not the box. So if the number your reading is from the box, you should check the actual part number on the strut box, instructions to see if they say AB or AC on them. If they don't then you definitely have the older kit and would need 2 spacers so you don't get a crazy rake.

I have the AC kit, so pictures from me will not help.

Looks amazing. From the pictures I dont seem to see a rake with the lift kit. Did you install a level or something in the front?

Nope, had the stock ORP on all four corners and put the mopar lift on top of that. I do have a little rake still and that was what I wanted. You should be able to see the extra height in the back wheel well compared to those who just add the ORP springs only to the front.

Looks incredible! Nice! Did you install or have the dealer do it? Im being quoted around 2.5k for the kit and install, mopar 2inch lift, fair? Also did you get an additional 2 inches on top of the ORP?

Thanks, it came out better than I thought. Dealer quoted $3K so I told them no thanks. I purchased online for $1100, and had a local shop install and alignment for $600. I believe it is an additional 2 inch lift on top of the 1 inch ORP springs.

Awesome, if you ever get a chance could you measure ground to tire fender well, stock in at 37.5 front 39.5 rear, with the stock tires that are around 32 inches. Wondering if with the mopar lift plus 35s you are at 42.5/44.5

Looks great - Go Gators! I so need the Mopar 2 inch lift, lookin at XD847 Outbreak Black/milled, 20X9, 0 offset, either Nitto Ridge Grapplers or Toyo Open Country AT3, was looking at 295X60 as I have mudflaps and worried about rub. I installed the Borla Atak exhaust, love it!

Any good pics out there with the Mopar lift and 33” tires?

I just measured, 42.2 front , 43.7 rear, tire pressure at 40 psi

Finally ordered mine! BAM wholesale parts for $1100 with shipping to my doorstep. Thought that was pretty good. Going to stick with the Wildpeaks (AT3WS) but a larger size I think on my stock wheels with spacers.

I wanted the warrantied work and parts since I am off-road and in the mud often—so I chose the 2” Mopar. But in the rear I swapped the 2” puck and Fox shocks for 1” Daystar and 0-1.5” Bilstein 5160. 35x12.5R20 BFG KO2 on oem rims. No rubbing. View attachment 64047
Love this look, great job.

I'm curious why you chose to not use the fox rears and 2in puck, did you do that to get leveled?

Is this right.. Tires aside with your kit you are +2in front (+3 over non orp) and +1in rear (+2in over non orp) from the puck?

Does anybody have the part number for extra spacers that goes with the first release of 2” lift kit #77072424.

Well its pretty difficult to get the kit right now, at least from my experience with three separate sites. 7702424AC is on backorder, but from what I was able to pick up in this thread is that its a bolt difference between the two? So I went ahead and bought the AB kit on ebay.

I'll be installing it in the next couple weeks with some 295/70r18 terra grapplers and fuel contra's. I have the ORP springs as well but won't be doing those initially as I want to see how I like it without them and if I want the rake gone I'll end up buying the RC UCA arms and getting those installed since I'm not a fan of the angle I've seen with the ORP springs and the RZC ones seem surprisingly heavy duty for it being RC.

This forum has been a great help to get me to this point!

I found that out too about my kit...they had marketed their kit as the AC version but just got an email from them yesterday saying that it‘s the AB kit. They said that the AC is not being developed anymore until all the ABs are out of stock. I called a dealer in TX that had an AC I stock but wanted $1,973 before taxes and shipping. I told him I got the AB kit for $1,100 to my door and he could not believe it until he saw it online. Anyways, the guy at the parts counter said there is not really any difference in the hardware but was more of a mfg date thing. Can anyone confirm?

I know 19bluestreak went through the same thing and he listed out good details earlier on in this thread, maybe around the 50ish page mark. Essentially the only difference was a bolt was AC so I feel pretty good that there is no major difference and it is just in fact a small change that required an update to the identification.

That was a good deal, I got mine for 1150 free shipping. I'm waiting on a quote for my wheels / tires and install then will get it done hopefully soon
