Unable to lock tailgate on 2022 Limited with MFT

I'm having the same, exact issue. Ramboxes lock fine with key, but tail gate will not lock with either keyfob or lock button on driver's door. Purchased used 2022 RAM 2500 Laramie Limited last month and noticed this problem. Did you find out how to correct this problem?

lock the truck and leave the fob far enough away from the truck that you can't unlock the doors by touch and go check the tailgate. It will be locked. The tailgate unlocks by proximity not touch so if you stand near it with the fob in your pocket it will never be locked
