Turn Signal not turning off

Have the same problem on my 22 BH. My problem with the dealer will be that I swapped the MFS (with a new part) in my truck to install heated steering wheel. Expect I'll have a problem since the dealer will want to install the PN my VIN calls for--without heated wheel. Maybe I can talk them into replacing with the PN I need. Probably "well, you replaced it, so it's not covered by warranty".

Do you guys who are having the problem have heated steering wheel?
My 23 Limited has a heated steering wheel.
After the replacement, with part noted above, 0 issues. A few thousand miles on it now… zero issues.

Since you replaced the part with a non-factory part(for your truck) I'd be surprised if they even cover it under warranty. And there's a chance the issue is with the part you installed

I'm fairly sure the problem is with the part I installed. Since I posted, I did find out there's a recall for this issue. There was a run of bad parts. The recall applies only to 23 and 24 trucks. I'm looking back to see where I bought the part and see if I can exchange for a good one; but not optimistic about that either.

Thanks. Since I posted, I found out there is a recall for "some" 23 and 24 trucks. I don't know if "some" means trucks with heated wheel, of those trucks built before there there was an engineering change to the part. The two PNs are mechanically similar. The difference is that the PN for heated wheel has two additional conductors for the heat.

My 2023 Big Horn with heated steering just received a Recall for that problem.
Since I had the problem, I took it to my Dealer for repair. They fixed it as a warranty repair, but I just recently received the Recall notice.

Original Multi-Function Switch part 68545657AA was around $300. Engineering change level AB , which supersedes AA, is around $70. I guess I should just buy AB; but it sounds too good to be true. Any information? Thanks, Brent

I just got a recall notice for my 2020 regarding the turn signal switch, odd since it has been replaced twice already. Very Odd

Same here. Mine was at the dealer about 1.5 months ago and had it fixed. Then last week I got the recall notice. I've read from many that if it's not marked done in the system, they will replace it again next time you bring in the truck. This at least partly explains why Stellantis is having money problems...

I just received a recall notice on a completely separate issue, ABS Module Configuration Mismatch. I took my truck to the dealership. Was told the software is not available yet. While I was there, I brought up the turn signal issue. I was totally open; I bought the Multi Function switch somewhere else, I swapped it when I installed heated steering wheel. The advisor said nothing can be done--my truck is not covered by the recall, parts department won't exchange the part since I didn't buy it there. As I was leaving, he said "Hey when you bring your truck for the ABS recall, report that your turn signal is not cancelling and we'll fix it under warranty." Sounds great; but I know my truck won't call for the PN with heated steering wheel function, so they'll want to replace with the PN I had originally. Oh well, I fight that battle when I go back.

With mine, they replaced the clock spring. Shouldn't make a difference with your parts, don't think they replaced the multi function switch.

From my understanding the multi function switch is hardwired to clock spring, so they both get replaced at same time.
It is an integrated part; clock spring and combi switch. My issue it that I had to replace the part when I installed a heated steering wheel. They don't "give away" the extra 2 connectors with the standard part. The part with the extra 2 terminals (AA engineering change lever) has been found to be defective and has been superseded with AB engineering change. My problem is that when the dealer tries to fix my no cancelling turn signals issue, they'll want to replace it with the part my VIN calls for and my heated steering wheel won't work. If it was just the clock spring, a $50 part, I'd just buy one and replace mine. But I paid $300 because the part is integrated and more complex.
