And the sage continues.
I got a call from a case manager a few minutes ago. I expressed my concern that the dealer wants to attempt to diagnose an actual issue before completing this repair, when the TSB plainly states that the diagnosis procedure is that if the symptoms identified in the TSB are described by the customer, complete the repair. NOPE. According to the case manager, they have to attempt to diagnose the problem first, because it could be a different problem other than a poorly designed HVAC housing system, which has been redesigned. If the issue isn't identified by the diagnosis, then they go to the TSB's to see if there are any issues. Assumedly at this point is when this TSB would come in to play. I tried to explain that the problem is a faulty system, which FCA is aware of as they have identified with this TSB that talks about a HVAC housing redesign.
Anyone know of a dealer near Southeast Missouri that will do this repair without this much hassle?
