Yeah, it’ll take your breath away if you’re not ready for it. Watch out for the torque steer too, the TRX pulls a little to the right on WOT - there has been more than one accident because of it.

I read about that this morning, before the test drive. I put the truck in Sport mode, then hammered the gas WOT from a dead stop on the frontage road. It pulled straight ahead without any torque steer.

I think the torque management has a lot to do with that. From a dig, the PCM pulls power down low to save parts and as a result it doesn't torque steer. From 60+, I guess it's full tilt because it pulls pretty decently right as mentioned above. Will change lanes for you if you're not ready.:D

Too bad the TRX doesn't have rudder pedals. I'm pretty proficient at correcting center line drift due to asymmetrical thrust/P-factor. 🤣

Beautiful truck (even if it's not the actual truck you're buying)! And I agree about the color.

I hate to even post this, for fear of jinxing myself. 😆 I deleted the post I made last Friday about the Lunar Edition. I tried like crazy to make the deal work, but it just didn't make sense. The 2500 mile distance from the dealer to my house was too big of a hurdle to overcome. I was going to fall back on my original Plan B and order a 2024. An hour after I backed out, the sales manager called me and offered to pay for half of the cost to ship the truck to me in an enclosed trailer. His dealership sells a bunch of trucks/cars on eBay, so they get really good rates. I couldn't refuse that offer, so we're back on.

At this point, it would be okay if it doesn't get there for another week or two...but I still check the tracker a few times per day. :ROFLMAO:
Good for you, man, follow your dream!

The last vehicle I saw ordered (a 2023 Jeep GC L Overland for a family member) went TBD as it was being delivered to the dealer (+/- a day or so), a couple weeks early of its estimated delivery date. I wouldn't be worried about that.

I tend to notice the torque steer more in sport--Im assuming it's due to the power split between the front & rear axle. If I'm in baja where the split isn't as substantial it seems to be less noticeable.

After 16 days of the pizza tracker showing the estimated delivery "TBD", it's showing movement again.

A buddy of mine has agreed to buy my Laramie. It's in excellent condition with 8,000 miles. I told him I would sell it for the average of the KBB Private Party Range. The sticker for my truck was $65k.

This is probably a moot point now because the truck you are getting probably has the bed step. However if it doesn’t have the bed step the one on your Laramie will not work. There is a specific one for the trx.

Yeah, someone pointed that out to me. I would have never guessed. Now that I'm selling my Laramie to a buddy, I'm leaving everything on it and buying new accessories for the TRX.

You won’t regret it. Accessory #1 should be mud flaps placed first thing to help protect your rear fender and lower panel area.

This truck is going to be a fair weather, pavement princess at first, so I'm going naked for now. I prefer the no mud flap look, but I do have the Weather Tech's on my Laramie.

I think #1 should be some fuzzy dice

Fresh off the transporter. One step closer, 500 miles farther away from home. 😆

Not my pics.

Boy is that thing ugly!

If you'd like to keep it from disgracing your neighborhood, please feel free to re-route it to my house and I'll take care of the rest.

You did well, stellar special edition color & they're only going to get more expensive/desirable. Bet the anticipation is killing you.
