Trailer Surround Camera System

I haven't been on in a while. I see you thanked me, and mentioned Jimmy, with the @, but that doesn't notify him. If someone else clicks that, it connects to him. If you haven't, actually send him a PM.

That depends entirely on the user's preferences settings.

Typically, a mention will only alert someone when they log into the site and check alerts/followed threads. It's a polite way of getting someone's attention without the possibility of the site sending an email notification of a Private Message to them.

The problem with someone clicking on the mention link (member ID) THEN "sending a message," is that they are often only sending a profile post from the member page and those are public posts. Only "Start Conversation" is private.

I need some help guys. I bought my 2022 Rebel new from the dealer and it came with the box for the trailer surround view cameras. The problem that I have is that when I finally tried to hook up a trailer for the first time a few months ago, there was no power. Took it to the dealer I purchased it from and they said that the Mopar hookup was not installed by the factory and it wasn't covered under warranty. I have done zero mods to the truck nor did I add the hookup. It is still as is from the factory when I bought it brand new. I contacted the dealer that they received it from (dealer swap) and they had no ROs for it other than the PDI. I searched the build sheet and the XN1 code is there but no code for tow package or anything that would indicate the install of the 12 pin harness. The 12 pin harness is also mounted on the receiver so I have 2 different hookups. The regular 4pin/7pin on the pumper, and the trailer surround hookup on the receiver. I know I rambled a little but is there anything that I am missing that I can tell the dealership to prove it came from the factory? I have a picture from 3 months after the purchase and it shows it there but they didn't care.

Get the buildsheet, and reach out to @RamCares .

I have a new 2025 Ram 1500 Limited Longhorn with Uconnect5/14.4 inch display and the trailer wiring in the truck to the camera connecter on the rear bumper. Will the Ram 2500/3500 trailer camera kit (Mopar PN 68527709AC) work with it?

In the cameras section of your radio screen, do you have both AUX 1 and AUX 2 camera soft keys?

Yes. On the rear bumper, I have a (coaxial) connector for a single trailer backup camera and a 12 pin grid connector for a multiple trailer backup camera.

Then that trailer surround view kit won’t work correctly in your truck:
