Torn headliner

I purchased my truck a few weeks ago and for some reason I never noticed this tear in my headliner. I think it was there and just opened up more over time. I just started to communicate with the dealership to get it fixed but they won’t warranty it so far. The truck is great I’m really enjoying it but now I see this little rip in the headliner out of the corner of my eye when I’m driving it.

I have a black scuff on mine in the EXACT same spot, leads me to believe its the machine thats inserting them into the vehicle. I'm not worried about mine but if it was torn that'd be another story.

I didn’t notice when I got my truck mine might of been scuffed also then opened up

I also noticed a few days after I got my truck, mine hasn't opened up though so my guess would be yours came from the factory like that.
