Tonneau Covers

Hey guys! im considering the mx4 backflip but how does it look when you have the cover folded back? I do hvac and ill constantly have furnace/air conditioners in my bed and im worried about the view being blocked from the cover.. I dont want to go with roll up but will if visibility is an issue with the flip cover. Thanks!

With the cover flipped up against the window, you lose all visibility out the back window with the mx4. Not an issue if you use your mirrors and backup cameras but if your worried about looking out the back window then the mx4 won't work for you.

thank you for the quick response! Honestly I use mirrors, and backup camera like you said.. So I should be alright than? how does the mx4 compared to mopar's folding cover? Thanks!

I don't have the Mopar cover, however I hear it's just a rebranded bakflip so I would expect about the same.

I get 25% mopar thats why I asked, Thank You!!

I installed the MX4 a couple days ago,. Gotta say, it’s really sharp looking, super functional and a snap to install.

That is super clean looking, I like your rims!!!

TruXedo Sentry installed Monday.
Fitment is snug. Let it rain on it, and didn't see any drops inside the bed.

After 2 months of fabricating and color matching (since theres none on shelves yet) I got my custom painted fiberglass tonneau cover from A.R.E. and bedbug for entire bed. Couldnt be happier. The hump takes a little getting used to but now I can keep my belongings out of the elements and safe.

One thing I noticed w the bedbug is that extra/excess material between tailgate and bed, if it isn't lifted up and get caught even a little in the crevice between bed and tailgate, it will cause the information center on dash to give the tailgate sensor light warning which tells u that tailgate isn't closed properly and also the darn cargo light will stay on until about 30 seconds later then it turns off to conserve battery. But it's a pain if it stays on so I figured out it was bcuz that extra piece of fabric was causing tailgate not to shut completely. Just fyi in case ur cargo light does the same. You can turn it off from inside but its supposed to turn off when alarm is set and not wait another 30 seconds after alarm has been set. Ok I'm done...lol
Goodnight

Very good point. I installed mine a couple
days ago and experienced the exact same thing....I posted quite a bit about it on Ram Forum. I was able to get it situated where the extra material stays out of the gap, forms a bit of a hump. I’ve opened and closed it a dozen or more times with no issues now. I can post a couple photos tomorrow if you
