Thanks man! Congratulation! I added some stuff to the truck so it looks a little different now...
The side steps are some cheap steps from eBay i wanted to try... they're all right for the price lol

I think I have the same steps, $160.00 off ebay. I wish they were a little longer. Couldn't get the OEM matte black at the time, so I opted to go cheap. The brackets are 2 parts. The height is good for my 90+ in laws as they are not tucked up high. Sorry if I steered the topic off course.

There's only one bracket in the pictures.......
Sorry about that. There are three brackets, all three are 2 parts, you can see the bolts in the first picture. At the time I did not do the final install and was checking the position, fit and look. It was a while ago and forgot about only using one bracket. Hoping this helps out anyone who is thinking about using these running boards. Most installs on this forum are on the higher end. These might be good for someone on a lease and need running boards.

Yeah these are pretty decent running boards for the price.

How have you liked this cover? I just got my Ram which also has the Rambox and this is a cover I have been looking at. Little spendy but could justify if it’s a solid cover (doesn’t leak). Where did you get yours?

Hello Bink, first yes it is little on expensive side. When i ordered it there weren't' that many videos about it and i was very hesitant but once i got it and installed i just loved the way it looks. Installation was very easy. As far as cover goes I have no complain with it. Now that doesn't mean it is perfect. It does have some flaw but still very good cover for my taste. It gives out a nice flash premium appearance once installed. This was the first mod/accessory i installed on my truck back in June of 2019. Since than i have opened/closed it many many times and had no issue what so ever. I am able to open/close tailgate without messing with cover. It is water/weather resistance not water/weather proof. little bit of water does gets in from tail gate side but it is very little even in heavy rain. It has vinyl on top and aluminum on bottom. Per BAK Aluminum can hold about 400 lbs when evenly distributed. Roll up is little larger than other roll up cover due to aluminum but you can still see through back window and bed is almost fully available to use once rolled up.

I purchased it at realtruck.com (https://realtruck.com/p/bak-revolver-x4-tonneau-cover/v/ram/truck-1500/2019/)

Do you have the 5’7” bed? I just picked up my new 2020 1500 Laramie 4x4 with the 5’7” bed on Thursday and am definitely looking at putting a roll top with rails on it. I’m torn between the RetaxPro XR and the Truck Covers USA. The only con I have with the Retrax is the size of the can. Has this been an issue with yours so far?

To be honest with you if I did not have the 6'4" bed, I would have gone a different route.

The Roll-up takes 13.5" of your bed. So to put it in perspective my Quad Cab with a 6'4" bed I have 5'275" left to load and it would be a major pain in the butt to remove. (Especially by yourself)

Since you have the Crew Cab it will leave you with 4'575" to load. Of course you can access the area underneath the roll-up but that is only 9" of head room.

I have been able to load some lumber underneath it for example.

Thank you for the information! Like I said, this is my only hold up with ordering the Retrax pro.

I had an undercover ultra flex on my 2016 1500 Big Horn Quad Cab which gave me full access to the bed. This was generally filled to the brim once I loaded up the wife, our two 80 lb dogs, and all our stuff to go up to the mountains.

We’ve got our first kid on the way which pushed me on the decision to get the crew cab but another fold top isn’t in the cards because I’m most definitely going to need a rack with a basket system to catch lost space from the bed and baby overflow.

The Truck Covers USA’s can is only 8”x8” which does give me slightly more space (4” in both height and width) for more gear. I have a feeling I may be the yokel on the mountain with gear in a hitch rack regardless of my efforts.

Hello Mitchuation,

I have attached few more pictures and hope these picture helps you decide if it fits your needs. Also feel free to let me know if you need more info your picture/video.
Thanks for the pics Jeet. I am picking up my Ram tomorrow and bought the Revolver 4 yesterday. Kinda stoked for both.

Side question: your bed divider, did it come with the truck or did you get it aftermarket? My buddy said his came with his Ram but I can’t find it anywhere to buy aftermarket.

Congrats Man, and I bet you can't wait. I went crazy when my wife brought mine home and my 5 years old daughter handed over keys to me on Fathers day. It was a insane feeling. Since than i take this beast everywhere i go :). I also hope you will like your revolver 4. Let me know how you like both and do post a picture or two.

Did you get RAM Box? if yes, than check window sticker page for your truck or invoice to see if it list "Bed Utility Group". If it does than this divider/extender should come with your truck. Mine did came with truck. I had to buy following in order to use this divider/extender: Handle - Swivel Release (Part NO: 68054996AA) and Inner Panel Grommet (Part NO: 68054997AB). This two parts no longer come with Truck due to Federal Laws compliance issue change for 2019.

Bought those two parts at MoparAmerica.com

Thanks for your help in making a decision. I’ve got a Truck Covers USA American cover, a bedrug bed mat, Mopar utility rails, and led strip lights all on their way. Here’s to hoping they show up before next Friday so I can have a productive weekend.

I am looking for a cover and would love to see some pics of what everyone has and their pros and cons. Thanks.

This look might not be for everyone, but I don’t haul a lot. If I did, I imagine a “con” would be having to remove the cover to haul anything with some height to it. It’s lined with the same material as my bed rug, and came with LED lighting, and it attracts a lot of attention. It’s also wired to lock and unlock with the key fob and passive entry. I love it!

Looks sharp!!
I almost went this route. The only reason that I did not was the Retrax Pro gave me easy access to bed for hauling larger items which I have to do occasionally.

My last RAM had the Truxedo Deuce on it when I got it. I was never a fan of the soft bed covers, but it grew on me. So I decided to go with the Truxedo Pro X15 for my new RAM Bighorn Night Edition.

Three reasons for not going with the same cover...
1. I had a failure with the fold-back front panel, it came open at 80mph. I disabled this and used it for 3 more years.
2. The fold-back feature made the cover rails sit higher than needed
3. Vinyl

The Pro X15
1. Roll up only
2. low profile
2. Mat black canvas

Soft vs Ridged
Lower Cost - $200 - $600, Pro x15 in on the higher side $539.00 to be exact
More Flexibility - Most ridged covers will need two people to remove it you need to haul something that will not fit below the rails, except the folding or rolling hybrids
Less secure - This is the downside, but I do not typically leave valuables in the bed anyway

I went with the WeatherTech Alloy tri-fold. Very slim profile, light weight, easy to open and it can supposedly hold 400 lbs on top, not that I plan on putting that much but nice to know you can put something on it. I would get mine from say LineX (same price) but no shipping which is kind of steep. Still cheaper than say Extang. I would assume that it could also be painted to match.

I’ve narrowed my decision to 3 and am having a hard time. I am going with a hard roll up cover. Looking at:
BAK Revolver X4
Truxedo Sentry
Gator HR1

Anyone have experience with these?

Got my Extang Xceed over the weekend. Initial impressions are good overall. It is a Truck Hero product so really similar to the undercover options. I like the Enduracoat, seals seem to flattening well. Went to car wash today and with me using the wand didn’t have much leaking at all - most could be adjusted out, even that amount would make me feel comfortable with luggage/golf clubs in the back in rain.
