I did some searching, but haven't found anything concrete to support my claim. So I may be incorrect.
It’s nice to have discussions with adults… who don’t feel the need to hurl insults, ridicule, etc.
Wrong or right, both won.
Kudos sir.

How you do calibrate the throttle body?
It is my understanding that the throttle body is calibrated by putting the ignition in RUN without starting the motor. After everything finishes booting, slowly depress the accelerator, hold at max for a second and then slowly release. If the intake snorkel is off, you can watch the throttle body valve respond.

I would also try turning off the Forward Collision Warning on vehicles experiencing severe hesitation on acceleration.

1) Turn off Auto Start Stop
2) Go to Uconnect->Safety/Driver->Forward Collision (Off)
3) Calibrate the Throttle Body
4) Try a new Throttle Body ~ $200

I have tried the recalibration with the gas pedal before, this is the first I am hearing about the forward collision warning system. I will give that a try in the morning. Thanks!

Try tow mode too. It’s like sport mode

Unfortunately, shutting off the forward collision warning didn't help at all. Tow mode does feel like sport mode but the delay on reacceleration from slow speed is still there. So frustrating.

Anyone ever try a PCM tuner, like a diablo sport, to try to rectify the problem. I have a service appointment at the dealer on the 8th, I don't know why but I am not super hopeful they are going to tell me anything.

I’d try a throttle controller next and see what that does.

Most are pricey, but supposedly the 9 drive ones work. I’ve never tried them tho

9 drive throttle controller

I've tried everything over the past couple of months as well with no change. I hauled 1000 lbs 250 miles yesterday and it was worse because the truck was weighed down. Driving in traffic is infuriating. I'm not sure this is tenable for me long term and I just want my 4th gen back. Good luck with your dealer, mine doesn't give a crap.

Well I just dropped mine off at the dealer tonight. I will let you know if they come back with anything.

Same issues on my 19' w/ e-trq. Stop sign, full stop (start-stop off), begin to press the accelerator., nothing nothing nothing, BAM takes off. (throttle pedal re-learn didn't help). In OBD JSACN and looked at both "Acceleration Factor" and "Acceleration Threshold" and they both are set to "Filter Off". (On mine, it does indeed start rolling forward when I take my foot off the brake and before I apply to the accelerator, so it seems not as bad as the 22+ MYs)

I really hate it in the winter months. Press slowly from a stop on snow... nothing... nothing... nothing (same throttle input, no change), then BAM goes to take off and the tires spin and TC takes over.

So after my trip to the dealer they said that this is just how the truck drives. I pushed back a little bit and they went and "refreshed the transmission adaptive" honesty the first day or two I thought it made a difference. After that it was back to the same thing, I guess it quickly relearned how to drive crappy, HA !

Not sure where to go from here, I am sure if I try to sell it I will be upside down on the loan. Maybe some more research on a PCM tuner, I do think this is a software issue and not a mechanical issue. Thoughts?

I haven't read the entire thread, but have you given thought to a Pedal Commander?
