Is a 3" Motofab level on a Rebel going to cause too much angle on the stock UCA? Or is the argument not settled?

No air suspension and stock shocks

I kept the stock UCAs on my 2.5” Motofab kit with no issues. I had mevotech arms on my 14 RAM with bilstein 5100s and i liked them. I’d like to go higher on the 19 so maybe I’ll look into the mevotechs again. Cheap enough

Cheap piece of mind when your off the pavement I figured. Don’t do hard off roading with this truck just wanted the extra 2” to help with the angles a bit. I can take a measure as well when I pull my factory Rebel UCA off. If there’s no difference like the other pics showing more articulation these will be returned

The question was whether or not the upper ball joint from the Mopar 2" lift upper control arm could be swapped into the factory control arm. The Mopar upper control arms that are included with the Mopar 2" lift can be purchased separately, the complete arm is 47 dollars. Not after market control arms.

They're not $47...I don't know where your getting that from. Went to the link and they're $110.

2020 Rebel 2.5" Motofab. Local Ram dealer installed and aligned without any concern. If I do run into issues down the road, I plan on going with the Mopar UCAs.

The issue comes at full extension, not at static height. As long as you checked for no binding at full droop, you should have no problems.

When you install the new Mopar UCAs, do you need to add grease into the ball joint? I plan to install the Motofab leveling kit with Mopar UCAs combination, but I don't have a grease gun, do I need one?

Has anyone installed the Mopar 2” lift UCAs with 3.5” lift struts? I figured if I can buy the struts for $350, then the UCAs for $100, and install the lift spacers in the rear I could save myself $450 versus buying the full 3.5” Rough country kit. I have a 3” front 2” rear spacer kit at home, but haven’t installed it yet after considering ride quality and longevity. Thanks for any help.

Why would you buy UCAs for a 2 inch lift and get a lift thats 75% higher than what its designed for? probably best to get the kit and not shortcut stuff. Shortcuts usually end up costing more in the long run. I recommend waiting until you can afford quality parts to avoid rebuying or repairing and spending more when you aren't prepared for it.

I had the 2" mopar lift installed along with ORP springs in the front which essentially netted me 3" of lift in the front and I was a little concerned about the UCA angle especially when towing or with any kind of payload. You would probably be ok using them if you don't do any kind of off roading or towing aka pavement queen. Here is a pic of the Mopar UCA angle after install...not good in my opinion. I ended up installing RC UCAs...pic below, much better angle.

Oh wow, I didn’t think the angle would be so extreme with the 2” UCAs. Maybe I’ll get the RC UCAs and install the spacers for now and see how the ride is. If it rides like a lumber wagon I will order the lift struts. Thank you.

I used the Nope 2" lift UCA's with a Rough Country 6" lift that used 6" lifted struts, worked flawlessly. If you have a vibration prior to anything, don't touch it. You'll be waisting your time and money trying to fix it. Just build a case of 3 attempts trying to fix it with RAM then file for Lemon Law. I waisted thousands of dollars trying to fix mine and I wouldn't want anyone else to do the same.

Quick question I have a 2019 ram 1500 warlock, 5.7, it is the classic old body style. I want to put a 3” front 1 rear motofab level kit on, I agree that the UCA needs to be upgraded will the mopar UCA for there 2” lift work 68323530AA 68323531AA? I can’t find any dimensions to confirm it will fit my truck and looking at what even rough country wants for there basic level kit that includes this style at 500-600 bucks for what you are getting for parts seems a little ridiculous. Any info please help!? Thanks
