Stellantis CEO Resigns

Time to lower MSRP’s. Huge increases the last 5 years haven’t exactly helped sales any. Never heard so many long time truck owners finally say enough is enough and refusing to buy any more new trucks.

Post pandemic sticker only price or sometimes even more is long gone and current discounts and incentives won’t be going anywhere anytime soon. The writing was on the wall when brand new re-designed 2025’s were already being heavily discounted BEFORE they even reached dealer lots. That’s unheard of. Obviously time to adjust MSRP’s accordingly and quit playing the huge discount games.

They’re not gonna attract any more customers with these current sticker prices. That’s the first thing people look at when shopping on the dealer lots. Sticker shock only drives them away. I miss the days when RAM’s actually were the best deal out there before all the greed took over. Bring back those days.
Ram has always had huge discounts on their trucks. I was one of the first people to get a 5th gen in 2018 and got 10K off right off the bat. That said I don't know why they don't just lower the sticker prices in the first place. They would get more sales as a lot of people see the sticker price and then keep going.

I paid $41K for my 19 Bighorn Sport 4x4 Crew in October, 2018. I was an idiot for trading it in. Don’t get me wrong, my 22 is nicer, but not that much nicer. Right about now, paid off is way more appealing than brand new!

I have a list for Tim, hopefully he reads and uses all good ideas here and pushes RAM brand to the top.
1- Provide better quality for all trucks (Specially on electrical issues)
2- Reduce MSRP (10-15%)
3- Eliminate some models
4- Provide V8 option (smaller displacement 4.4L TT IMO)
5- provide better costumer service and transparency with costumer
6- Provide better warranty
7- Transparent with dealers and have them involved with all decisions
8- Produce more trucks

You guys can add to this list and again hopefully someone or Tim Kuniskis reads and listens to all of us.

Stanlantis is heavily focused on more expensive trucks and SUV's at least in the US. They don't really offer anything to compete with a Toyota Corolla anymore.
Because when they did have cars in that class, they didn't sell enough to justify.

I for one am not interested in a turbo v8.

A modern, NA, 430 to 450 hp shouldn't be that impossible. Even a new v8 at 400hp would be great, the 5.0 coyote is already there and outperforms the hemi when towing.

Good news for Durango So I figured I put this here since they talk about the Change in CEO's. Maybe there will be a Hemi back in Rams. If enough people start giving feedback
